Mesher's Contest
Hi meshers! I am (as you maybe know) Joćo David from MySim'Skins. I decieded to organise a kind of contest between the meshers of this comunity, and I'm currently making anouncement for all the forums. This can be taken as a request, if some want, but it is a contest. Well, the award will be a face texture, a clothe texture, a painting, a pose library and a wall. This contest is only for meshers, since it is a mesh contest. The only thing that the participants have to do is to make a mesh of a female centaur. Well, what is a female centaur? It is a mitologic animal that can be called as female centaur or centaurette. Here is a picture:
I know it is not simple to make... but that is the point of this contest. All meshers can join it, if you don't want, you don't join. I hope that the ones who will try can enjoy this contest and then join the award from my site. In the award pacage, an award for best Mesher in the comunity will be inclueded. I don't think the mesh itself would be that difficult to make, but getting the mesh to work in the game will be nearly impossible. The only way it might work is if you make a mini centaur as a pet...

Well, I don't know... It is maybe possible to play ion the game. The mesh may work with the back leg walking as the same time as the front leg of the same side. This is realy something I would like to see in game...

I don't see it working in the game and if it does work, I don't see it working well. But I like the idea of a contest and I like the subject of the contest very much

Hi Sabinka! I'm glad you apreciate my idea. I know your site does not have any mesher as a sraff member, so I hope you don't mind I'm using your forum to anounce the contest. Later, I will organise some textures contest or else, but this mesh is something that I always wanted to see on game.

Actually, we do have a staff mesher... Glenda. We are currently putting together a list of her meshes for download. You might remember the clutch purse, the visor, etc. Look for them soon.

GREAT!!! It is very good to have meshes in a site... I am still desperatingly looking for someone who can woek on my site submiting meshes. You are so lucky to have one! Well, if Glenda wants to join the contest, she will be very welcome. I would be happy to give an award to Boutika.

I'm afraid that Sabinka's right that I don't have time right now. I'm working on new meshes for Boutika's next Labels update.
It should be interesting to see what people submit to the contest, though. I suppose it might be possible to make a centaur by assigning all four legs to the 2 legs on the Sim skeleton . . . not sure how it would look sitting down though.
