Millet Spray...
Cream doesn't seem to like millet spray anymore... I know that the first day I took her out to train her, she loved it! But now, whenever I want to treat her for a job well done, she doesn't even bite it. I leave it in front of her for a few seconds to a minute, but she still doesn't want to touch it anymore. What should I do? Should I try to treat her with something different? I really want her to know that she'll get a reward for a good job, but millet spray is the only treat I have right now... Also, I found something weird... Whenever I try to get Cream out of her cage with my fingers, she screams and avoids it. But when I play with her for a little bit, then put her back in and take her out again (within like 20 seconds, that is), she avoids it less. Any clue why this is? Thanks in advance!

Re: Millet Spray...
How fresh is the millet? Maybe it is stale and the bird recognizes that because I have never had one of my birds turn their nose up at millet:lovebirdsinging Of course I only give it to them sparingly. It is like candy to kids. dj

life is too short, try to see the positive and laugh alot : )

I may sound stupid, but what exactly is millet spray? What does it look like, and how can you get it? I'm always reading about it, but I have no clue what it is. :ohmy

Re: Millet Spray...
cream could be board of it perhaps...BirdO my budgie loves millet but if shes bored of it she wont touch it. You may have to try different treats or rewarding other ways such as lots of cooing baby happy sounds. Birds love this if your sound happy then the are happy. You could also try putting music on for Cream when cream is behaving the way you want. Most birds love music...

good luck
