My Nathaniel Slideshow
I made this slideshow to show my love for nathaniel. It is basically a bunch of random Al scenes (mostly just Al but some have others in it. There are several with Marcie but how could I really avoid that since them two are soo good together) with a few NM pics thrown in.
Mostly all the pics came from NMO so thanx to Brittany for that. and thanx to Char for the song choice. The song is "Things I'll Never Say" by Avril Lavigne. Mostly all the words in the song are very accurate to how I feel about nathaniel. and i'm sure that the other DNMF's would agree with me.
To reach the show, click the following link. Then it will be listed under slideshows Things I'll Never Say
(Addition to post from Char:
I wanted everyone to remember this slideshow because its so beautiful, and it serves as a reminder of how special the man we are working to hard to keep on our show is... The link above goes to Jen's page on Marcal, and you really should spend a moment to see her gorgeous site.)
note from Jen: I made this slideshow early July 2003 and all the pics used were ones around prior to that time. I have recently thought about making a new one with new pics possibly with a new song but might keep the same one.
Re: My Nathaniel Slideshow
thanx brittany, i'm glad you like it. i was actually up half the night working on it cause i kept messing up and i'm kinda a perfectionist in that if i do something just slightly wrong or it just doesn't seem right i have to start over. see how dedicated i am.
sure you can add my marcal site to the links page. i don't mind at all, why make a website if you want to keep it private. add the main marcal page though jen7481.tripod.com/marcieandal.html I have a link to both NMO and this forum on there.
Re: My Nathaniel Slideshow
Thanks so much for adding my link!!!!! I'll be sure to add yours ASAP!

Dang! I could play that all day and night!
Jen! I just love you to pieces for such a gorgeous tribute to Nathaniel on his birthday!
I think it was absolutely perfect! I'm glad the song I recommended worked out... it was just so right! He plays Al, a soap hunk, so to have a song about loving our Prince Charming "down on one knee", as well as the man himself on other levels of the song.. just really made the show all the more addicting!
I'll be playing that every so often, just for fun!
Re: Dang! I could play that all day and night!
yup i know what you mean. i can definately watch that show a lot. it's funny too cause they way that the pics are in it, i didn't plan it that way. completely random except for the prince pic being at the end, i wanted that there. but the others i just gave number and used a random # thing to put them in order. i though it would be better to mix up the scene pics since they didn't have to be in order like when my marcal shows that i made which work better when they are in order. plus i wanted to work in the pics on nat in there too.
i was up really late tuesday night working on it cause i wanted to finish it for nat's birthday and i kept messing up getting the pictures to flow right and when it comes to things like that i'm a perfectionist. if i mess up with one little thing i have to start over. i kept trying to make it work with the amounnt of pics and the length of the song since i wasn't about to change the song and i didn't want to take away any of the pics. but he is always worth the effort
btw, welcome back char. i hope you had a great time. it's been kinda empty around here, i've been trying to keep it going but with not much success. i'm glad you liked the slideshow.

We won't be lonely here long... you'll see
Jen,
Thanks for the welcome back. I had fun but I'm also glad to be back. I sat watching the moon in a clear, breeze-free, bug-free, cool 70 degree temped, night sky, shining on a glass lake through the trees with a fire going, and I tell you, you don't know what peace is until you've experienced it or something like it. I didn't want to read. I didn't want to hear music. I didn't want to write fan fiction. I just felt utter peace.. course that's AFTER Ozzfest without Ozzy (sore throat)... but I met this band I absolutely adore called Shadows Fall, and I grinned like a goofball, and I bought another copy of their CD for them to sign it.. I was also going to meet another hearthrob of mine, Zakk Wylde, but he didn't show since Ozzy wasn't playing.. (he's the guitarist). There I was with my special armband to meet him... and he's not there . He should have at least met his fans since he was there or close enough to come anyways! I just think it is so not cool. NM beats all by a mile and then some, but I do send my love to many artists who make my world a more interesting place... But Zakk is OFF the list.
Nathaniel seems to appreciate his fans, and knows the right things to say to his fans and the media, so that fans know where his heart is. He's got so much energy, charisma and charm, and he brings that to his characters.. this guy will not be our little secret for long, so I say we enjoy the secret until it all breaks loose, and then we'll love everyone who jumps on!
Re: We won't be lonely here long... you'll see
oh, that sucks that guy didn't show. you would think that he could've at least made an appearance. ya know if nat was that guy he definately would have been there cause you are right on how he is soo good with his fans.

wow, sounds very peaceful. something i'd definately want to experience.

Yeah, and while I space out in nature, you're making cool stuff on your computer. I definitely have to learn some of these skills. By the way, I think mixing it up worked perfectly... it was a picture of all that he is.. oh, but with some Eddie Silva stuff and Prince Rosario, and Craft stuff.. you could REALLY go to town! But we know him as Al an we love MARCAL, so yours is absolutely perfectly representative of who we are and how we feel. Thank you so much!
imagine how long the show would be...
if i added all those pics in too. i've actually been debating getting this device thing that i could hook up to my vcr and connect it to the computer so i can make screencaps of prince rosario and also my own ones from oltl to get the shots that i want and not bug someones else for them. if i choose to do that though maybe i'll make a remix version of the slideshow.
i am really glad that you like the slideshow. i have learned a lot of things recently on how to do these things but there's still a lot that i don't know. so, don't feel bad that you don't know how to do these things. most of what i know i've learned from listening to others. like someone mentioned the program that they used to make slideshows and i looked and i had it on my comp(and didn't even know) and learned how to use by playing around with it a little. and that's pretty much how i do everything on the comp whether it's making banners, slideshows or my page. i play around with programs that i have and learn things along the way and i find out about other things on the web, like downloadable trial versions of programs. but there is soo much more that i would like to know, since there is new stuff coming out everyday.
