Nikki!!
Hey!!!
How are you? I'm back from my US trip, i had the most amazing time!
I spent the first 9 weeks working at a summer camp in Vermont teaching horse riding, which was so much fun. The camp was really great, and all the other staff were just lovely, which made it so much easier. It was exactly like what you see on tele, really chessy, but a total blast. I did things i never thought i'd ever do, singing and dancing in front of the whole camp, teaching kids, it really improved my confidence.
Afterwards, about 20 of us went to Montreal for a few days, basically to go clubbing anf get totally drunk it was a lot of fun, but also kinda sad cos we knew it was gonna be our last few days togehter, so we had a really nice dinner on our last night, and we all went crazy singing camp songs.
After that i went to Boston for a few days, which i thought was lovely. I saw the cheers bar!!
I then headed to San Francisco for a Trek America trip. I thoght San Fran was goergous. I visited Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, which is just the craziest place i've ever been too!! It was soo overwhelming. I went on a ganolda ride and went to Ceasers Place, where the shopping is totally amazing. I went a little crazy but it was all fun!!
The Grand Canyon was amazing, it was soo beautiful. Then, LA was just brill. I went to Hollywood and i was soo excited!! I was going hyper in the van
Finally, i went to New York. I went to the US Open Tennis and saw Matthew Perry!!!! Omigosh!!!
Anyways, how was your summer? Hows school going? Hope everythings going okay for you.
I'm at University now, i'm in a new flat so it's a lot of fun. The MTV European Music Awards are gonna be held here in Edinburgh in November! I'm so excited, i hope i can get tickets.

Wow Kristy, it sounds like you had so much fun! I'm so happy for you, and only 10% jealous Did you see where Brad and Jen live? You should have stopped by Toronto, I would have taken you around. But Montreal is a very cool city, lots of history and culture and a crazy night life from what I hear
My summer was pretty good. I didn't get to travel outside the country, so I went on a lot of road trips across southern Ontario. I worked full-time, and my bf and I got engaged in July. We haven't set a date yet for the wedding, probably in 2005 when I'm done school.
I'm back at university this year, and I'm in the process of applying to teacher's college. If I get in, it's a one-year program and then I can start looking for a job as a teacher.
Right now I'm out of a job, so I'm doing some volunteer work with kids and focusing on finishing up school. I can't wait to be out of university!

Aww, congratulations Nikki I wish you and your fiance many happy years together.
Good luck with teaching school, it must feel great to only have a year to go with school. What do you want to teach? Do you want to work with High School kids, or younger?
I wish i'd come to Toronto now!! That would have been fun. Maybe one day
Yep, i still study writing. I have another 4 years to go! but i get to spend next year on exchange. Of course, i'd love to go to the States, but my parents kinda want me to stay in Europe. I can go to Sweden though, or the Netherlands, so that might be fun.
