OMG!!!!
OMG my girlies, this morning at around quarter past five I woke up and heard someone talking in the kitchen which is right next to my room. I went through to find out who i was but onmy way I tripped over the cat (!) who yowled at me. I went into the kitchen and the window was open with all my mom's ornaments on the grass underneath the window and a garden chair was up right underneath it!!!!!! I went and woke my mom and dad up and they came downstairs and called the police but OH, what a thing to happen to me, who stays awake practically every night in fear of burglars and then I finally sleep and they come!!!!!!

Now, this may not be a practical suggestion, but I'll offer it as food for thought - I used to have that same fear of something awful happening at night if I slept. What finally helped me to feel safe in my own home at night was getting a dog. Even the tiniest little ankle-biting rat-dog will bark like crazy if it hears someone lurking about outside a house. It's like having a home security system that gives you unconditional love.

I hope you're all okay there, Lulu. I agree with Glenda. Before we got a dog, we had two burglaries in the house, but they stopped once we got a dog.

I want my parents to get a dog for me and Maddie but they say 'NO!'.
Which is especially unfair as the dog who lives next door just had puppies but I see them often enough anyway!

Oh my... I have been paranoid all summer since the abduction of all of these girlies. What a horrible position you were in. I hope you can sleep after this.
Re: OMG!!!!
A dog has done wonders for me as well. Kale and I adopted a puppy a few months ago. He's still little, but when people come near the house he barks like mad, it makes me feel so much safer
