Excerpt from Seal IV: You allow yourself to fall from grace then you feel again. You re-ignite the senses... re-evaluate the gift of being able to make someone happy... The frustration... self doubt... all time low... anxiety &... disappointment. You gather them & then you strike with the might of it all. You let it hurt you, maim you & even disgrace you. But you NEVER let it kill you. You let it get you down but then you get back up again & you strike! with the might of a peaceful warrior. I love my life, I love all the people in my life, even the one's I hate I love. I have the most amazing life in the world. People say the nicest things to me. I'm lucky... I have a voice... I'm not referring to the singing variety. I mean the voice of expression, of communication, how about just being heard? Isn't that what we all want?... [so] it would then give us a feeling of validation? Surely this would confirm our existence after all, none of us want to come and go into oblivion. We want to be counted isn’t that what all the anxiety and frustration’s about? If I had a wish, [besides world peace], it would be that everyone in the world could experience what it is like to be heard, to connect directly with the emotions of others… But then I guess that would be like world peace in a funny kind of way… Inner peace. All of this is the gift I wake up to each day so you see the problems are insignificant! They become irrelevant in the big picture. Yeah sure I have bad days, sometimes I get down so low that I could wear a top hat & still crawl under a snake, we all do but when we’re being assessed, it’s going to be on how quick & if all we did get back up. What’s amazing is that we come out of it [&]... we remember the... people that all too often go unnoticed.
