Our Nuts for Nathaniel campaign made SOW!
Thanks to Ladyday's scan on the Nathaniel Marston lists... here's the article... I'm still tripping that this idea I had that I was sure was going to be goofy.. actually got press! I guess we were all on the same page and really did what it took! So who sent the tin to SOW? I sent a tin to the studio along with my bags... It was honey roasted, but not just peanuts.. it was "Just the Nuts" and I penned on the lid... Just the Nuts about Nathaniel.. but I didn't send a tin to SOW... who did it?
OLTL: AL LIVES ON
Although Nathaniel Marston was supposed to exit One Life to Live when Al died, he is now staying on the show for an indefinite period of time, confirms an OLTL spokesperson. This week, Al dies and Luna appears to Max to tell him Al's spirit lives on. Next week, Marcie will see a vision of Al.
One person who hopes she will be working with Marston again is his TV mom, Fiona Hutchison. "I don't work with him in tomorrow's script (Sept 12) and I don't know what next week brings, but I hope, I hope, I hope I get the opportunity. I love working with him. I don't know if Gabrielle will (see his ghost) or not. But I'd like to think that I can play 'sensing something.'"
Even is she doesn't work with him again, Hutchison says it's nice having Marston around the set. "It's great seeing his face. I'm a big Nathaniel supporter. He's one of my boys."
She's definitely not Marston's only supporter. In July, when the actor's fans learned of his terminatino they organized a campaign call Save Our Voice. E-mails and letters were fired off to OLTL, ABC, and this magazine (WEEKLY even received a tin of honey-roasted peanuts with the note : Nuts for Nathaniel begging TPTB to reconsider Marston's exit.
The campaigners appear to be as determined as Marcie is with her peace protests. "Take the campaign to the street!" rallied Nancy Ge online. Reportedly, one fan is armed at all times with printed telephone numbers where people can write and call to "voice" their outrage.
Did this campaign have anything to do with Marston's extension? It sure looks like it... but ABC has no comment.
You're brilliant!!!!! I KNEW this was a great idea. Congratulations on the mention in SOW.. it definitely takes something a little out of the ordinary to get notice from the press.

I don't know who sent them to SOW but it was a great idea. I just sent mine to the studio. But maybe the mag mention will get offliners in on the action too. This is just too cool.

Congrats, Lady for getting an article. Although it didn't specify who was hosting the nuts 4 Nathaniel campaign. Or did it? I forgot! lol

No.. I didn't get credit, but its all good. I know it was me, and you all know it was me... and that's all that matters... Besides, I couldn't have done it without all of you jumping the train... its a collective effort.. the Marcalers and the DNMFers that did it..., but I'll tell ya... it sure was nice that Nancy Ge's words were heard and it got printed.. Sent me to the MOON.. I'll cherish that article forever. I never stuck my neck out for anyone like this before... and I'm proud to have done it for someone as fabulous as NM.
