I have a bad feeling about this whole Paul Cramer murder mystery. No one has said that the killer will leave the show, but I just have a bad feeling. Cat and Tim were two of the least used contract actors last year, and I'm afraid that the show might just say "the heck with it" and let one, or both, of them go. I really hope this isn't the case... but BOTH had motive to kill Paul and I'm sure TPTB could write the story to fabricate some reason why. Also, I'd take it as a bad sign if the killer were Jen too. If Jen leaves, Lindsay has no family left on the show... the last one remaining. Sam died, Will left town, Melanie left town, Ben died (although not really family)... etc. If Jen leaves or goes to jail, Lindsay's the last one remaining. And RJ's already the last one remaining from his family. Rachel's gone, Keri's dead, Hank's vanished.... On another note, I really hope it's not Daniel or Riley either.

i'm hoping for paige....we all know she's useless anyway. also, i really don't care if it's daniel or riley....i like them both, but we all know daniel and nora aren't going to last and, if we must have jen, i prefer her with rex.....although rex and adrianna would be even better. as far as families....mcboring doesn't have anyone other than michael, vange has no one (yet), phonio/manny jr. only has carlotta who isn't even his mother (once cris leaves).....and we know none of these people are going anywhere. family ties are important - or should be, but, on this soap it really doesn't seem to matter. the favorites don't need families because they are.....well, the favorites!

Isn't RJ about to battle Antonio for custody of Jamie? He should be around at least that long. I really don't think RJ is going anywhere anytime soon. At this point, he may not have any family on the canvas, but he's got a lot of history & some strong ties - to Lindsey, Nora, Dorian, plus long feuds with Antonio & Bo I wouldn't be surprised at all if JM goes though. She's rumored to want to be out for a long times. She's a beautiful, young blonde & it looks likes she's been working on her acting. I'm sure she's anxious to move on. And if they write Jennifer off, I'd expect them to send one of the guys off with her - Rex or Riley. Plus, they can't write off RJ...then who would the have to blame for everything?

I agree RJ is probably safer than Lindsay is at this point. He has ties to the history of the show, and has more history with it's characters. But I think this is going to become a very dangerous... it's become stacked like a row of dominos. Jen could very well set off a chain reaction if Jessica Morris left. Situation 1: Jen leaves and takes Rex with her. Roxy has no real family left, and she's phased out of the show. Lindsay's family is gone, and TPTB decide that she's run her course. No more Jen, Lindsay, Rex, or Roxy. Situation 2: Jen leaves and takes Riley with her. Daniel's secret is revealed, and he loses his job as DA and also leaves the show. Lindsay's family is gone, and TPTB decide she's run her course. No more Jen, Lindsay, Riley, or Daniel. I could see them doing this, but it would be a horrible mistake, IMO. If Jen leaves, don't take anyone with her.

ITA Heed - either of those scenarios could happen. But it's also possible if they gave RJ & Lindsey some decent airtime that they would take off as a couple & even if JM leaves, maybe they'd bring Will back. Or invent a new Rappaport. Don't new headwriters like creating characters? But I agree that Rex, Riley, Daniel & Roxy are all on shaky ground. At this point I'm (pleasantly) shocked everytime I see Roxy, because it would be just as easy to not write her in at all, even though Rex & Nat are in town. Look what they did to Larry Wolek.
