Plotbunny Challenge
Let us learn more of Mirkwood, and especially Thranduil and his family. We can either do this strictly canon, which I know is a little tricky as there are holes in what we know about the family that rules Mirkwood.

I want to see what kind of an elf Thranduil is, and what the relationship is between him and Legolas, since it seems that Legolas was not attached emotionally to his father.
