In a medium bowl add egg and rice-a-roni (not sauce packet) to ground beef, mix well. (I like to mix with my hands because the beef is so thick.) Form mixture into balls and lighty brown each side of the meatball(s). Add 2-2.5 cups of water, sprinkle the sauce packet over the meat. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes. I also make masked potatos and use the left over sauce for gravy!
