Question about Meg and Cal
When Meg returned to the series in the 70s (played by Tudi Wiggins), she brought her two grown children with her (Ben and Cal). Of course, Ben was the grown up version of Beano that appeared as a child during Meg's first stint in the 1950s. Was Cal the baby that Meg was pregnant with by Jack Andrews? Was the baby born before Meg left town? Was Cal's last name Andrews or Aleata? I've seen her referenced as both. My guess (and this is just a guess) was that Eddie Aleata adopted Cal after he married Meg. Of course, this raises another question. Were Eddie and Meg married when she first reappeared on the show or did it happen later? If it happened later, was it before or after she married Jeff Hart? Because of my age (I'm 30) I never got a chance to watch Love of Life, but it's one of those soaps that has always fascinated me and I wish I could have seen.
