Question on URL linking - Sound Halting
To Note: This is SWISH I'm asking about - not Flash



I downloaded an open souce file, and modified it with my own text. One of the things I want to happen is, that somewhere in the movie, the visitors can click on the area and be taken to a new URL, loading in that same window.

So here's what I did. On the text, and various other parts, I went to actions>add action>on press>go to URL (specified that URL in full - non relative)>target=_self

I also added "stop all sounds"

then, I uploaded it to my server, and to my newbie surprise it actually PLAYED - which is saying something in itself!! But -- no links and even after the movie is done - set to no loop - The .wav still plays.

Can someone help me with this? Thanks.

Have you tried or looked for on mouse down or mouse off instead of press?
