Revitalizing the Book Forum AKA "Why Terry Pratchett rules you". I am a full convert. I am nearly one with the Disc. I have converted some. They realize it's awesome-ness. Some naysayers proclaim, "What's with that Terry Pratchett crap?" and slap my books all the way across the room. It's a start. They too will be converted, once they learn that books are harmless (unless it is a magical tome). World domination is inevitable. With the Yak and the Imposing Yeti on his side, nothing could stop them. Now if I can only get them in the same room without the Yak sitting on something, or the Yeti imposing upon everything in the room.... Moo! Roar! Moar! |

Re: Revitalizing the Book Forum
George R.R. Martin is the man. His books are the most impressive I have read yet. You cant count on anything in his books.

Re: Revitalizing the Book Forum Yes, "A Song of Ice and Fire" is fantastic. Simply unpredictable. I'm wondering when the fourth book is coming out.... |

Re: Revitalizing the Book Forum My inside information suggests that it will come out in Novemeber and WOT should be December. It will be an excellent Winter for reading. £_Buad of Albhain |

Re: Revitalizing the Book Forum Most excellent.... I had been trying to track down info on the release date of the fourth Ice and Fire book Arghblah. November, that's about 2 years after the last one. Should be interesting, since it is the beginning of the second trilogy, is it not? The new WoT book will simply be icing on the cake. Maybe something will get done? "Winter's Heart" showed some progress, perhaps "Crossroads of Twilght" will continue.... |

Re: Revitalizing the Book Forum Might as well revitalize this board with the help of one of the ole converts. Me. Pratchett owns everyone. I am thinking about picking up the first of the Coldfire trilogy; Black Sun Rising. I saw it in the library, but now I realized I should have checked it out when I had the chance, looks like I'll have to go back there and do that. Soon. |
