Rules?
I've always hated rules. So I'm not good at coming up with any. (Which is why all you have to do is get into the Rainbow of Light is after you have a certain number of posts or have been here a while (so people who don't post much don't get left out) and have proved that you're not a troll, email me and ask for the password. Oh, my email is stacy_lee_barker@hotmail.com.
I'd much rather not have any rules, but I know that's probably not a good thing.
So...what rules would you like to have? I have to go ahead and veto anything limiting what people say, although maybe we should keep the more adult topics and cursing and stuff in the forums in the Midnight Castle section. For instance, Smoozed! is where flames go.
So what do you think?
Oh, and any ideas about the number of posts or length of time needed before you get into the Rainbow of Light?
P.S. I was thinking, and I will lock or delete a flame that gets too nasty. Being upset is fine. But pointless insults and really hurting people's feelings isn't. Is that okay with everyone?
And also, well, no flaming people over things like race or gender or religion or sexual orientation or any of that stuff. I don't want people afraid to talk about things like that.
So how does that sound?

Sounds good to me IMO I think that maybe 100 posts is a good length of time to be able to get into the rainbow of light, because by that time you should know us all fairly well

sounds good to me. I agree that around 100 posts sounds like a good level. I also think that sometimes locking a thread when it is totally off subject and nothing but pointless insults is a good idea. Otherwise, unless specific threats, or insults based on gender, race, etc. are made, I am fine with the threads remaining open.

1)100 posts sounds good. Everyone should know the person by then.
2)The semi-strick banning sounds like it would work as well.

But, um, I'm with Sisley on this one: What is the Rainbow of Light? Did I miss that somewhere in the Dream Castle board? Is it a mod place? Maybe I'll find it when I'm looking around...
