Sara McIntyre

Hi!
I´ve read at another board that Millette Alexander was the third actress who played this character. Can anybody tell me the other two actresses?

Hi, Hannah! Welcome to the board :) . My trusty Guiding Light Family Album tells me that 3 actresses did play Dr. Sarah McIntyre:

Patricia Roe (1967-1968 )
Jill Andre (1968 )
Millette Alexander (1969-1982)

Clearly, the first two actresses didn't last long in the role and Ms. Alexander made it her own.

Here's another question that I've always wondered, whatever happened to Ms. Alexander? Did she do any other soap work after Guiding Light and what were the reasons for her departure?

I saw Ms. Alexander as an extra in one of Woody Allen's movies.

I cannot recall which one it was, though . But, it was one of the ones that was made prior to his breakup with Mia Farrow.

In Soap Digest a few months back they did a feature on her. She is no longer acting but perfoming music. I think (memory is bad) she is a concert pianist now. From the article she is very good.

From the photos she is still a nice looking lady.

It's great to know she's still doing well! However, it amazes me how someone can be into acting for so many years and then just chance gears. Of course, I bet that's like any other profession.
