Imagine my SUPRISE and DELIGHT when Cindi she said she was doing a live phone interview with Kathy today!!!!! ( of course I have sent in serveral emails requesting this..LOL)

Let me try and recap for you all:

Cindi: We you born singing?
Kathy: Well, my grandmother said I was because I cried for the first full year after I was born.
C: Have you taken voice lessons?
K: Not until I was 13 after my mother heard me sining around the house all the time. We didn't really watch TV, but my mom had stereo's playing in everyroom. So I was always sining and dancing around the house. She said (Kathys Mom) that if I didn't like the voice lessons I could quit, but I fell in love with it.
C: Did you think that the Al and Marcie would be such a fan favorite?
K: No none of us did!! But Nathaniel and I had a connection right away so they just ran with it. We had no idea the reaction would be so positive.
C: Whats going to happen with Al and Marcie? is there a second chance for this couple?
K: Well Al is going to stay in Kathy's life ( get ready) as a GHOST! (sorry thats what Kathy said) But (this is Kathy) as long as Nathaniel is still on the landscape I'm happy.
C: What will happen to Marcie?
K: I have been told that no matter what happens I will still be here for a long time.

Thats about it guys...wanted to share with you while it was still fresh in my mind. And of course I didn't get it on tape because I sisn't know she was going to be on the show today. However, I will be emailing Cindi Rinehart to get a copy of the show. As soon as I do will get a copy to Deb so she can post it in the Vault.

Sorry for being so long winded but thought you would all want the information.

Now, Ladies...we are at a very crucial point in our campaign. I know a few of you said you'd take NM any way you could get him, but a a "Ghost Al" means a TEMPORARY Al in my book, and that's not what we've been fighting for. Let TPTB know that we deserve better than that.

+ NM's still on the set + Ghost Al = interesting acting
+ more offliners are gonna jump in this action
+ its a soap opera and anything could springboard from ghost Al

Those are the positives...
Now for the negatives... only one....

- They are gonna make us WORK for that man :evildnmf

Besides... Ghost Al has a familiar ring... no... Not one that includes a wedding ring... but hea.. what soap couple ever lasted heading to the altar that quick anyways?
Enjoying the idea of a ghost doesn't sound plausible though does it? Marcal didn't seem plausible... at one time.. when it was all tongue in check and just a blossoming idea in our hearts... who else but NM and KB could have made what is probably the most sappy story ever written... into MUST SEE OLTL...
remember fans laughing at the idea of Marcal (I once did)...
But Nathaniel and Kathy transcended reality with love...

we DO get Marcal... just not quite in the form we are accustomed... and WHO KNOWS... might just be interesting...

I never watched the vampire story with Michael Easton on Port Charles, and its my biggest soap regret to date... Ghost Al sounds stupid (and it PROBABLY IS), but what if were wrong?

Can anyone get a GHOST AL emoticon?

Ya know what? Is more of the same ole same ole... I expected this at this point.. its probably the worst of all possible worlds... rather have NM come back as ANYONE BUT AL if GHOST AL is the alternative to REAL AL.

So why am I all blah-zeh bout all this? Cuz I think it would be TOO EASY to write Al back to life, and turn it into a dream sequence, or coma sequence... we haven't won anything except that Nate is still ON THE SET to give us time to campaign for the REAL DEAL.

I can't imagine anything but fans crying their eyes out with MARCAL tissue and screaming about bringing Al back to life over this, so if fans REALLY have ANY SAY... they just ASKED FOR IT. WHAT IDIOT IN CHARGE ACTUALLY THINKS FANS WON'T GET MORE VOCAL seeing THAT?

I'm going to try to keep any open mind.. no "I HATE THIS -SIGHT UNSEEN". My official party line is that it could give NATHANIEL an opportunity to SHOW HIS STUFF, AND... buy us a little time to campaign as even the offliners will be ALL OVER THIS!

ITA with you about Ghost Al. So Marcie will really still be alone per say, just that she will have a ghost to "talk to"? I am selfish I guess but I want to see my favorite couple on OLTL being in love and since they have finally taken the first big step in their relationship I want them to be lovers not Ghost and his buddy.

Nathaniel and Kathy both deserve better. :luvnate

I'm hoping that ghost Al is just a temporary fix until they really figure out what they want to do. Since they had to do some major changes to keep NM at all, perhaps doing the ghost thing for a little while will by them some time to figure out where they want to go next. and just because he's a ghost in my book doesn't necessarily mean he's dead or he could die and be brought back which is highly possible. Maybe that's where Luna comes in, he dies and Luna tells him to go back cause it's not his time or something like that.

I mean if ghost Al is all they have planned then why would they make such a big deal about Al's "death" not being the end of Al and Marcie. I mean how can there really much of anything Marcal if Al is a ghost, there will be Al and there will be Marcie but interaction would definitely be limited at best and to me that sounds like an end. it just seems like such a big deal is being made about this not being the end of Marcal, so to me only having something as pathetic as ghost Al and nothing more, would not make sense. I will remain optimistic that we get so much more than ghost Al because us fans have worked too hard to only get something that would most likely be short-term. But only time will tell what indeed will happen.
