Searches galore...
Awhile ago I made a bunch of searches from different sites into one page that I use as my homepage, I thought it might be useful to others to have them all in one place, so I offer the URL here.
The page has Greek / Latin / English(Old & Modern) lexicon searches, Vine's expository Greek-English lexicon (English word lookup), Google, Ebay, Lycos FTP search (tremendously helpful for finding "that one file" you need [e.g., MFC*.dll] but can't find anywhere!), a computer security site called Astalavista (be careful of this one, its not always on par with Christian values because of some of the banners), Bible study tools at Crosswalk.com, offering numerous translations / commentaries / dictionaries, etc., as well as Bakers Book's Evangelical Dictionary of Theology (very good for information on specific doctrines & theological concepts).
If having these all in one place would be helpful for you, here is the link:
(be careful of this one, its not always on par with Christian values because of some of the banners), <---- had that problem with my page as well, plus can't keep the gambling adds off no matter what... thanks for the info!!!
Re: Searches galore...
You know you *can* get those ugly casino ads to vanish, it's just about 30 bucks for six months. Not toooo bad, considering the prices of some of the other boards around... i.e., ubb, etc..
Hope this helps some.
Sincerely,
Kim

"Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets."

Okay thanks Kim... and hey you know how I can get rid of the red x's to the far left... I can't find the command button I asume its under something like "mark new posted" but can't find it... this board is pretty new to me
Re: Searches galore...
Hi all, just go into your internet options, in your control pannel, use the security tab at top, custom set your permissions to disable Java, Java Scripts, Active X, and all scripts. Result: No ads, no red x's. And, this board works fine with those setings too. And, NO POP UPs at all!!!
