just so you know, i love the decor section and i am always on the lookout for modern and hip, urban type of decor and your site should expand on that because you all have such great talent. but that is just my opinion.

Have you guys ever given thought to making a more modern type of wall, with plain colors and stripes and geometric shapes. I am just asking, so don't get me wrong. I love the walls you have and all of them are downloaded in to my game, but I wanted to know because I have very few really modern walls, and a ton of modern girlies and such that I want to decorate homes for those modern personalities. it's just a suggestion, since i know you guys have your hands full with skinning and stuff, so don't feel pressured. i just had to share my ideas with my fave people- the boutika girlies.

I love the decor section! However, I have a request...Could you make it possible for us to download all the walls or floors on one page all at the same time? One-click downloading type of thing. It would make downloading a lot easier for me.

no problem... we are just getting the decor section off of the ground... so look for more modern walls. we just did some great chenille rugs, so that may hold you for a while. we are also going to be doing furniture sets from Ikea... coming soon. hope that helps ya as well. we just need a bit more help and when we get some more staff, I think things will be updated more quickly.

We used to have all of the downloads that way, but we ran into bandwidth problems. We pay for the site out of our own money (out of my own money), so it is difficult to do everything that we want to. We don't want to bother folks with donations, so for now it has to stay that way.

I'm one of the two people (so far) who voted no. Just because I think you should focus on what you like doing best, and not feel obliged to do everything.
Just a personal opinion, but it seems that a lot of sites start up wanting to be everything to everyone. If you're doing it for fun rather than profit, then do what you love. Then you're more likely to find that people love what you do. (Argh, doesn't that sound corny? )
Of course, if you like making walls and floors, and they're not eating too much space or bandwidth, keep 'em!
I do like the stuff in your decor section, but it's your wonderful clothes that keep me coming back here.

even hearing the word ikea will hold me off for a while...lol. i love their stuff!
as far as walls go, i didn't want you to think i was making requests or anything, because i was really trying not to. i have found plenty of uses for the walls you have now- trust me.
and even though i am a wall freak, i am going to have to go with verylisa on this and say do what you love as well. of course i voted yes because i like the decor section, especially the chenille flooring.
but if your mission is to provide almost everything to someone, then by all means, keep going down the path you're already headed down and you'll become a quite famous site for sim stuff.

Thanks for the feedback on this. We like doing the walls/floors... etc. We adore doing the clothes. Our new staff member, Sarah, is going wild with the decor section, so hey, why not. We are not going to have a furniture section, I don't think anyway. But we are going to have a special projects section and that is where the ikea stuff will be. By the way, the evenings outfits are going up sometime today and they are soooooooo cute. I wish I could buy some of them for little ole me

I was going to say: "Have you seen the stuff at Simkea?" but it looks like that site is dead.
I love Ikea stuff. We rarely have the money for new furniture in real life, but it's great fun to pore through the Ikea catalogue and dream nice dreams ... I'll be looking forward to giving my Sims some of the furniture I'd love to have myself.

Lisa - I just tried your Simkea link and it looks functional to me. But it's hard to tell since es ist alles auf Deutsch und mein Deutsch ist nicht gut!

It looks functional? All I get is a Simkea logo which leads to an odd-looking set of pull-down menus, one of which has a "Simkea" option ... which leads right back to the first page.

Binkie - I think you should keep the decor section going. It seems as though most of the feedback if positive anyway! I agree with angelnorman - it would be useful to have a single-page setting if it's possible - it doesn't matter if it isn't though !
Lisa is right too - you should only keep it up if you enjoy it - it's unfair if you have to pay for the site with your own money to make stuff you don't enjoy for other people. .
