Snow falling

Help

I want snow fall on my board, i've followed the instructions on this page www.hypergurl.com/snowmaker.html posted in the 'body' bit in the custom html, but i just get all the text at the top of my page.

I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to this kinda stuff!!!

Any help would be appreciated :eek

Put it in the third box (the one called "Custom Header").

Nope, doesn't work. I ticked 'enable custom headre' but the i lost my banner!!!

Any more tips???

I'd just like snow falling on the home page!!!

Hi, I just added that code to my board as well. I put it in the body section, but make sure you put the <body> </body> tags around it or it won't work.

You can always try putting it in box 4 to keep your banners. It shouldnt matter, it is still within the body tags, it just may load a little later than its does in box 3

Thanks for all your help, it STILL ain't working!!!

I don't think i'll bother now, Xmas is nearly over!!!

However, i do want some more help with other stuff!!!!

I've seen on other ez boards that some have changed the bit were it says "6 visitors in the last 15 minutes: 4 Members - 2 Guests - 0 Anonymous" to a choice of there own!!!

I'd like members/guests/anon changed to something less....boring!!!

How would i do that????

I've asked a few people on them boards, but they don't know!!!!!!

This, i REALLY wanna do!!!!

Any help much appreciated!!!

YAY!! Thanks chrish18, i've got it to work!!!

Now then, i seen on another site where it says "logged in as" they had it as something else, it was "Hey, it's that Nut, KimmysGinge" How can i do that??

Or better still, can you just point me to the correct forum that has all that kinda stuff???

Well there's the General Text Replacement Script which can be used to change any text on your board

Brill, it works!!!

Only problem is, it takes about a second or 2 to change!!!

So ya see the default words first, then my changed words!!!

Should it be like that??? $:\$

It can take a second to change, it really depends how fast your board is loading, the script is in the footer so if the whosonline is at the top of the board, it loads before the script in the footer. But usually the board loads pretty much at the same time so you dont see it change.

It loaded too fast for me to see the default text so yep its fine

One more thing i would like help with if ya dont mind, i've been trying to welcome people to my board by having their name appear in one of the forums.

Someone told me to put <span name='userName' class='username'></span> into the general settings of the forum, but it aint working!!!

Any ideas???
