Spoilers - Wk of Aug. 22
Sorry I have not gotten these up before today...going back to work and dealing with delays with the carpet people so I was out of my classroom for 3 days had me too busy to get everything done. I'll be ready for students on the 25th...but I may be half nuts by then.

Beth becomes Mrs. Alan Spaulding in a less-than-romantic mental-institution wedding. Relentless in his plot to scam Cassie, the evil Edmund eyes Michelle's unborn child as a replacement for the baby Dinah miscarried. Reva's attempt to seduce Josh falls flat — in a scary way! Cut off from the Spaulding moola, Lizzie makes a desperate move to get cash quickly.
Soapdom Sneak Peeks
Michelle is certainly going through trying times, what with her pregnancy and her sticky situation with Danny. Considering all this, she is probably vulnerable and hungry for care and attention. That being said, Edmund probably doesn’t have to work too hard to convince Michelle to come to his hotel suite. What does he plan to do with her there?
At the same time, Beth’s life heads in a totally different direction when she becomes Alan’s wife. How long will it be before she discovers her husband’s true motives for wanting to marry her?
Later, on the other end of town, Coop gets Lizzie a job. Hopefully this will teach Lizzie to finally be independent and get on with her life. But then it’s Coop whose life could potentially head in a totally unexpected direction. When he is faced with an out of the blue dilemma, who else is involved? Will his decision affect his relationship with Lizzie?
Also, Ava owes Jonathan big time when he does her a huge favor. Will Jonathan regret having helped her? See how it goes when you tune into Guiding Light this week!

Edmund Dupes Michelle
Edmund hatches a plan to steal Michelle's baby & pass it off as Dinah's. He gains her trust by helping her hide from Danny & Marina & persuades her to take refuge in his suite. He steals a labor inducing drug from the hospital, but Rick comes in & catches him. Edmund convinces Rick he has a drug problem & Rick wants to help him.Edmund returns to the suite & injects a sleeping Michelle with the labor inducing drug.

Before Edmund if done, he will lock up Michelle in his hotel room, entangle Dinah once again in his web, & make a daring attempt to steal labor inducing drugs. In short, the stage is set for things to get very ugly, very fast for all concerned.

Edmund is definitely known to carry on a fib, and this week he tells a new, unusual lie to Rick. For some reason, Rick is led to believe that Edmund is addicted to painkillers. Now, what on earth would this be related to? Possibly Edmund’s stern determination to produce an infant? Meanwhile, Reva suffers a dramatic fall. What are the physical effects? How will her accident impact her romantic and family life? Also, Beth has her mind set on getting Lizzie back as she attempts to lure her home. What is the bait? Maybe Beth’s bribe only angers Lizzie even more! Has Beth completely destroyed her relationship with her daughter? Meantime, Rick tries to warn Beth about Alan. While Beth may be overly ignorant of Alan’s faults, Olivia is overly uptight about Bill this week when she jumps to a wrong conclusion. Does she suspect that Bill is cheating on her?
