Spoilers - Wk of Aug. 29
Soapdom Sneak Peeks
Even though GL is pre-empted on both Monday and Friday this week, Edmund still breathes a sigh of relief when he finally delivers a baby to Cassie. But are there any loose ends that will end up spoiling his whole plan? At least for now, things seem to be going his way. But wait! Where did he get the baby?
On a darker note, Michelle and Danny mourn the death of their newborn baby. Will this supposed tragedy help to revamp the bond between them? And when -- if ever -- will they find out that their baby is really alive? Oh no. A baby switch hits Springfield.
In the meantime, Lizzie is determined to marry Coop. Does she only want to spite her mother, or are her intentions all loving? Does Coop share Lizzie’s desires?
Speaking of Lizzie, while she hopes to celebrate a new marriage, Josh thinks his marriage is ending. Has he jumped to an incorrect conclusion? How is Reva feeling about their relationship?
And as for Ava, she hopes to start working for Olivia. But who will keep her from doing so? Don’t miss it all play out on Guiding Light this week!

Danny & Marina try to have a romantic evening but are interrupted by Rick & then Edmund, who are looking for Michelle. Heartbroken Michelle drives off & goes into labor. She crashes the car, but Edmund finds her. Michelle is delirious & believes she is reuniting with Danny. Edmund plays along, delivers her baby & then sets fire to Michelle's car. Edmund surprises Dinah & tells her once they tell Cassie there is no baby, they will have to leave town until the smoke clears. He pursuades Dinah to record a good-bye message to Ross. When she hears a baby crying, Edmund knocks her out with a chloroform rag.

GL's are mad about the firing of NSA & PAS. "I'm just fabbergasted that GL would do this. I hope [the execs] change their minds," blasts one. "I don't understand why they are writing off such a popular couple at a time whe [the show] needs every viewer it can get," cried another.
Only mention of the big wedding was a viewer writing to complain the show was interrupted by "breaking news."

Frank puts Gus & Mallet together on the force which makes them uncomfortable. Mallet will be getting a love interest of his own.
Edmund finds ways to spend time alone with Cassie & the baby, & keep Jeffrey out of the picture.
Marina starts to believe Michelle's baby didn't die. She knows a child could move Michelle closer to Danny. "Marina is so honest & a good person, that she can't help but pursue it" says Kreizman
Billy & Reva already have a bond & they kind of cling to each other in a time of need.
Sandy is not exactly who he says he is & his past will be exposed. Ava will become involved in Jonathon's life but don't look for things to be over between Tammy & him. "There is going to be a big story between them," Kreizman teases of the "forbidden love story."
Fan Faves Hitting The Road
Explaining the reasons behind the decision to let the actors go, David Kreizman says, "we looked at a lot of the focus groups. They have a very vocal core fan base, but there is an equally vocal base that is not necessarily that fond of them." Kreizman points to the Mob storyline as one that didn't resonate very well with many viewers. "Ultimately, the decision was that we felt at this point Danny & Michelle's story had kind of been played out for the time being." Ackowledging that the door will be kept open for the couple's return. He says that PAS & NSA will play all the way through & past Thanksgiving.

Edmund Steals Michelle's Baby
Cassie is thrilled when Edmund presents her with a baby girl, unaware he stole the baby from Michelle. Marina faces Danny's past when his ex turns to him for support. Dinah, who knows the truth struggles to escape from Edmund's prison, which is a replica of the the old farm house. Emergency workers find Michelle near her car, which is in flames. Danny & Marina are at the hospital when Michelle is brought in asking about her baby. Rick explains the situation to a confused Danny, who is devastated but determined to be strong for Michelle. In fact Danny is at Michelle's bedside when her condition suddenly worsens, as Mel works to save her, she is visited by Maureen's ghost, who urges her not to lose hope. A pint of Marina's donated blood saves Michelle. who awakens & asks about her baby. Danny lets her know that the baby died. As Marina looks on Danny comforts his ex, who senses she is in danger of losing him again. Telling him she returned to SF to get him back, Michelle wonders if he has any feelings for her.
Edmund tells Cassie Dinah took off after the delivery. Edmund visits Dinah & tells her he never stopped loving Cassie. She is able to steal his cell phone & make a desperate call.
Are Harley & Gus Finally Getting Their "Happy Ever After"?
Wheeler promises there are no plans to pull them apart anytime soon. "They do get to be happy, at least for a while. They deserve it."
