Your Port Charles favorites are the kindling when a fire engulfs the city

Nothing will ever be the same when the PC Hotel becomes a towering inferno this week on GH. The terrifying disaster sparks acts of heroism, shocking confessions and deadly confrontations. What�s more, before the flames are extinguished, many lives will be changed� and some will end!

Desperate Hours
On the run from the law and with a bullet to prove it, Sander hides out in the electrical utility room at the PC Hotel. Cameron catches Maxie stealing pain pills for the lamster and she is forced to reveal that the shrinks son is in trouble � big trouble. Cameron goes to him and makes a startling confession that sends shivers down Zander�s spine. When the doc later returns with Alexis, Zander, feeling betrayed by everyone he thought cared about him, pulls a gun and holds Maxie hostage. �Maybe they are there to help, but it�s too little, too late,� says Chad Brannon.
�Alexis was my mother figure. She and Sonny were the two people that cared about me. For her to turn on me in the end, it�s heart wrenching. It makes me realize I lived my life alone. It�s tragic.�

Carly is Arrested
Furious when Michael and Morgan go missing, Sonny arrives at Carly�s hotel suite and tells his estranged wife that he�s filed a restraining order to keep her away from their children. When the boys show up � and Carly gets too close for Sonny�s comfort � he has her arrested! Even as Alcazar�s hired gun, Jen, is having Carly set free, Sonny is finding a release of his own � in Sam�s bed at the PC Hotel.

Warning Signs
Suddenly, the hotel is the place to see and be seen, as folks begin arriving to bid on the treasure Nikolas plans to auction off. Sam intends to steal the booty, as does Tracy (who hires someone to do it for her). As usual, Luke�s arrival stirs things up, while Georgie books a room at the hotel with Tom on her arm, hoping to make Dillon � who�s there with Sage- see green. Meanwhile, Edward both gets and gives bad news: After being warned by an electrician that the hotel�s electrical system is overloaded, Edward announces to his shocked family his intention to change his will!!

Fire!
Although Alcazar places the winning bid, Luke finds a way to abscond with the treasure, only to have Sam lock him in a closet and take off with the loot (or so she thinks!) Nikolas meanwhile, finds Zander � who�s been disarmed and is awaiting help from Maxie- in the utility room and a fight breaks out. After knocking out his rival, Nik locks Zander in and calls the cops� unaware that their tussle has ignited a fire!

Rescue Me
The fire quickly spreads, as does word of the imminent danger to the hotel patrons. Luke regains conciousness to find himself trapped in a smoke-filled closet, with Skye on the other side refusing to leave him to die. �there are moments when both of us are in dire consequences,� says Robin Christopher, in character, �and we come to the aid of each other.
�When you go through something scary together,� she adds, �you only come out of it better friends and just really there for each other.�
Desperate, Skye turns to the last person one would expect to lend a hand- who turns her down flat. In the end, she still finds a way to save the guy.. and later learns what he has been hiding. Meanwhile, Sam, too, finds herself in a tight spot, and must rely on Jax to trot in on his white horse.

Trapped!
When Carly shows up at the hotel, Sonny rocks her world by saying that if she has any intention of building a life with Alcazar, she should plan on doing so without the boys. Storming off, Carly winds up in an elevator with Alexis, and the two become trapped between floors. Although at first they bond with tyke talk, when it appears they may never see their kids again, Alexis shares a secret.

The Blame Game
With much of the town � including the Quartermaine and Cassadine clans- holded up in the Versailles Room, the restaurant becomes the headquarters for all rescue efforts. As Edward deals with the overwhelming guilt he feels about having placed his family in danger, Nik shares with Emily details of his fight with Zander, only to learn that he locked his rival in the very room where the blaze most likely originated! �Nikolas wonders if Zander�s thinking is, �If I�m going, everyone is going,� says Tyler Christopher, hinting that maybe Zander purposely started the blaze. �Nikolas feels guilty that, because of his hatred for Zander, the fire was started, and now Emily may die.�

Burning Question
Next week, a daring rescue attempt is mounted, but not everyone will make it out alive! Enemies Jason and Brian must put aside their differences, while Georgie and the other teens must look toward a dark knight to lead them to safety. As Helena does what she does best � blackmailing one victim and placing another in mortal danger- Sam must decide between two lovers, and a hooded killer is willing to do whatever it takes to make off with the treasure! �At this point when you just don�t know if you�re going to get out alive�, hints Robin Christopher, �your real emotions come forward.�
Adds Tyler Christopher: �So much happens in the aftermath that I don�t think anyone will be the same.�
