Welcome to Star Trek Devastation.
This RPG is set eleven years after the conclusion of the first Dominion War. With Cardassia in ruins, the victorious allies have been forced to expend a great deal of resources to rebuild Cardassia as well as recover from the damage inflicted upon them. In the midst of the chaos, the Borg returned, launching a devastating attack on the symbol of the allies' hopes; Deep Space Nine. The station survived but many ships were lost. The Federation started a new Anti-Borg program, designing new ships with new weapons to combat the next Borg attack. One of those projects - the Devastation project - spawned the most powerful starship in the quadrant, the U.S.S. Devastation. The Alpha Quadrant had been growing more and more unstable, and the Federation hoped that the new ship, which carried more firepower than even DS9, would be enough to restore order. In some quarters, the new ship was welcomed, in others it was seen as evidence of Starfleet's aggression. First contact with a powerful species who have been long term enemies of the Klingons has forever altered the balance of power. Only one thing is certain. If the Federation cannot keep its allies together, the galaxy could be plunged into a war which would destroy everything they have worked for, fought for and suffered for.

The Bajoran System

Cardassian Union
	Cardassia Prime Cardassian homeworld. Suffered terrible casualties in the last hours of the Dominion War when the Founder ordered the extermination of the entire population. 800 million citizens were killed, and many more died in the years that followed despite aid from the Federation.	0	18/9/03 18:19
	Avinel Cardassian stronghold. Withstood a Klingon attack during the first Dominion war due to overwhelming numbers.	0	18/9/03 21:50

Klingon Empire

	Ty'Gokor One of the most heavily protected worlds in the Klingon Empire. This is the military headquarters, and great warriors are often inducted into the Order of the Bat'leth here.	1	30/9/03 6:13

	Khitomer A class M planet near the Romulan border. It was the site of the historic peace treaty between the Klingon Empire and the Federation. The colony was later attacked by the Romulans. It has since recovered from the Khitomer massacre and been recolonised.	0	18/9/03 20:40

The Molian Empire

	Molian Wormhole (Alpha Quadrant terminus) Located in an unnamed system, six lightyears from Molaris. The Molians maintain a strong military presence here.	0	19/9/03 16:33

	The Badlands A region of intense plasma activity near the demilitarised zone at the Federation/Cardassian border. Very few large ships can navigate the plasma storms, which is why the Maquis hid their bases in here.
