Steve Fletcher on Another World
When Steve Fletcher came on to Another World, I was really excited. He seemed like a character with alot of promise. Unfortunately sometime after his arrival my work schedule changed and I didn't get to see Another World for awhile. My VCR was on the blink (for quite along time) and I didn't get to tape alot of shows either. By the time I returned to watching the show, he was gone.

I know that he had a relationship with Iris and it seems like a child was involved.

Can anyone fill me in on his storyline on Another World?

Re: Steve Fletcher on Another World
Oh, gee, the best that I can remember is that Steve Fletcher played Hank Kent, a blue collar type guy. I think Iris was doing some work at the hospital (community service for something, maybe????) and she met Hank's son Tommy (?) who was very seriously ill (the illness I don't recall. maybe leukemia???) Iris took an intense like to Tommy and they became very close. In the process, Iris and Hank began to see one another. If I remember right, Iris and Hank did not get along at first (of course) but he began to bring out a different side of her. They fell in love (quite interesting considering he was blue collar) and I believe planned to marry. However, I think there was a headwriter shift or something and Iris and Hank split up and he took a job somewhere else or he took Tommy away somewhere for treatment. I don't remember a lot of specifics. I do know that Tommy had a great nickname for Iris, but I don't remember it!!!! I loved Hank and Iris as a couple. Steve and Carmen had wonderful chemistry and this was an excellent opportunity to allow Iris to finally find real love away from her father. IMO, AW bungled this storyline big time in the end. Anyone else have a more detailed account and can fill in my own memory gaps?
