Well, at least it's straight. :D Anyway, it looks like a letter opener. There are lots of letter openers shaped like swords like the Excalibur...

First of all, Im freakin glad somebody's actually posted here. FINALLY. second of all, The reason The sword Knife is special....Does anyone recall the 8-Bit Theater episode wherein Fighter Has an idea to combine the power of the sword with the Sneakiness of the knife? The "Sword Knives"

Aha, You haven't read the comic enough. In a later episode, Fighter thinks abut the certain advantages tha knives have, and comes up with the idea for Sword-Knives. On a related note, Nuklearpower.com has a new look

Ah. Now I recall. Yeah, I noticed the new look when it said "looks like black mage cast lit-3 on the page". Not a bad design, really.

Only thing that 8-bit theatre needs is more updates, but oh well, his comics are extremely good quality, so it balances.
