Ten reasons you may be a hopeless Willie Fan!I hope you enjoy these! I may post them at the Sci Fi Board, though I haven't posted there since April because of all the disruptive members.
1) You get "the willies" when you think about how Barnabas treated him even though
it is just a show!
2) You kiss the tv screen when you see his cute face!
3) You promise to name your first child after Willie even if it's a girl!
4) Quentin who?
5) Thought about changing your last name to Loomis.
6) A man who pouts and his lip quivers when he is nervous is sexy to you.
7) Little Willie is your favorite song.
Free Willy is your favorite movie!
9) You dream of running your fingers through his hair.
Re: Ten reasons you may be a hopeless Willie Fan!I love these! I gotta reply to each one individually.
1) Willie gives me the willies under every circumstance. He's the sexiest man I've ever seen bar none.
2) I never kissed the tv screen but got real close, like only a couple inches away and swooned! I have a pic of Willie as my background on my computer and I can look at it and imagine all the wonderful things I would love to do...
3) No I won't name my first child for Willie, I'm too old for that now. But maybe I will name a cat Willie, I have a friend who has a cat named Willie. But I'm not sure that I want to holler "Willie, get down off that table! Willie get out of there!" But it would be very easy to say, "Hey Willie, wanna come up here on the bed with me?"
4) LOL! I was a Quentin fan and then fell in love with Willie. Many people knew me as a Quentin lover, and within a couple days of falling for Willie they were all sure I had lost it. But it truly was a case of "Quentin who?"
5) Who me? Mrs. Alondra Loomis? Sounds good to me.
6) Now someone's been reading my poems and posts from somewhere! I wrote a poem called "Wille's Quivering Lip" about when he had to stake Megan. My darling was so nervous, but he did it. I loved how he said, "Aww Barnabas, why d'ya gotta pick on me for?" As for Willie's pout, well, I have never seen anything sexier!
7) Well having seen "Daughters of Darkness" a movie JK made around 1970 or so, I can say that Willie ain't so little.
I never saw that movie.
9) Oh yes, just for starters! I love his silken soft hair. I love that adorable dimple in his chin. I love his blue eyes, and his smooth cheeks, and his sweet full lips, and I better stop with just his facial features.
10) I cried when Barnabas beat him with his cane. But I know that in real life JK and JF are close friends, and they were while on the show.
Thanks !
EzCode Parsing Error: color=white size=3]Thanks to both of you, I'm glad you liked my list! I'll try and come up with a Quentin one LuvQuentin!
As for Mrs.Alondra Loomis, your replies were as funny as my list! ROTFL!
I just have to comment on a few of them.
First, Willie would be a great name for a cat as they are independent yet sweet!
The "quivering lip" referral just came to me! It could be I heard it mentioned somewhere in DS Land! I guess Willie fans think alike!
This one comment had me in stitches!
I never saw "Daughters of Darkness". Didn't realize he had such a "big part" in it!
Is it on video? I'll have to see it!
You never saw the movie "Free Willy" About the whale?
The reason I used it was because the name was perfect as all Willie fans would have liked to have freed Willie from
his slavery to Barnabas!
Re: Thanks !Now I don't know what the code is here but this is a tad bit adult. Daughters of Darkness is a movie JK made about 1970. He has a brief nude scene in it. Very brief, wayyyy too brief! I mean blink and ya miss it! Now I was looking for it because I had been informed of it. He was in a shower scene and had on a robe. He turned to leave the room and---flash!--- you saw frontal nudity for the barest split second. Of course I had to rewind it and look again...and again...LOL! The camera was too far back to get a real close up! But it was enough to know what I wanted to know!
Yes JK had a big part in it, he was the star. IMHO the movie itself was not so good, rather stupid actually. But he was in it so I wanted to see it. I have the video but don't watch it much. But one scene sticks in my mind so I don't have to watch it over and over. Yes it's on video but you may need to request it at your video rental store.
Maybe sometime I will see Free Willy but I am not into whales.
Forget about the movie!Yikes! I went to Amazon and looked up the video. I had no idea it was that kind of movie!
I thought it was some basic horror flick or family drama!
Nope, won't be picking that one up.
There were quite a few others there like Trilogy of Terror,The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Terror on the 13th Floor plus others.
There was also the Dan Curtis macabre Collection which has three different movies. Two of which JK is in.
May pick something like that up. I just always wanted to see the DS stars in other films just to see what they were like.
Re: Forget about the movie!Yes, JK was in quite a few movies as were most of the stars.
Wonder when Cagney & Lacey will be out on dvd, then we could see him all the time on something besides DS
I'm still waiting for Falcon Crest to to come out on dvd too, that has David Selby.
I've seen only one movie with David Selby and that was
Raise The Titanic.
Re: Forget about the movie!Daughters of Darkness was indeed a horror film. The nude scene was very brief though there were other scenes in which they showed quite a bit of JK...but like I said I don't really care for the movie much.
I hope Cagney and Lacey will be shown again on some channel soon. I never saw it in the 80's if you can believe it. Just didn't think I would like it and had no idea that some day DS would be back on and I would fall for the character of Willie Loomis much less want to see JK in anything. But I am reading a fan fic (a very long fan fic) which is a crossover between DS and Cagney and Lacey and has both Willie and Harvey Lacey in it. It takes place in current time so Willie is elderly.
Re: Ten reasons you may be a hopeless Willie Fan!Alondra, you are going to have to get the Cagney & Lacey dvds as soon as they come out!
Lots of John Karlen for you in that!
He is so cute in it and really kind and caring to his wife!
He also sports a moustache. It's funny ,I used to watch it back then once and a while, never realizing it was him,
THE Willie from DS!
I can remember thinking to myself, what a nice guy, he is such the perfect husband!
Re: Ten reasons you may be a hopeless Willie Fan!Well I don't have a DVD player yet but hope to some day. But possibly I can find some videos til then. Harvey Lacey does sound like a wonderful husband.
I'm not sure just when JK began to wear a moustache, but he still wears one. Probably has for years now. He looks cute either with or without one.
Y'Know, I'm not even sure it is out on video yet, same as Falcon Crest.
I don't know why it takes so long for some of these shows to be released for viewing.
You definitely will love seeing him in it though!
Get on the ball girl! Ask for a dvd player for Christmas!
Or sign up for Direct TV, they are offering a free dvd player with their service! LOL!
Just kidding with you.
I only just got a dvd player last year, so don't feel bad!
I also was probably one of the last people to get a vcr too!
I just love the fact that a lot of tv programs are coming out on dvd. I think it is great! There are too many for me to list that I want to get. Of course DS is my very favorite!
Re: Cagney & LaceyNo I didn't give up on this board. I just had a couple busy days. I will post the links to the two bravenit boards I post on underneath the topic "Willie board" so maybe you guys can come over there and post. They are both alive and well. I've been having trouble with this board anyway, it's not moving right. Alondra Willie's Beloved
