Teriyaki Baked Chicken
Teriyaki Baked Chicken


•        2 tablespoons butter
•        2 pounds chicken pieces
•        1 teaspoon ground ginger
•        2 tablespoons dry mustard
•        1/3 cup honey
•        2 tablespoons soy sauce
•        1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Melt butter and pour into shallow casserole dish. Stir in mustard to form a thick paste. Dry chicken pieces and roll in mustard butter to coat all sides. Bake skin side down at 375 deg. F. for 15 minutes. Mix together honey, soya sauce, ginger, and garlic powder. Drain fat from casserole and brush sauce over chicken. Continue baking an additional 20 - 30 minutes, basting occasionally, until chicken is tender and glazed. Serve with stir fried vegetables and steamed rice.
