The Clear Horizon
For me the highlight of last Saturday's CBS special commemorating 50 years of production at Television City was the brief glance they gave us of this soap, which ran from July 1960 to March 1961, then for a second try from February to June 1962.

I've often been curious about this show, which just screams "early 60s" to me with its focus on the lives of astronauts and others in the space program, which was so integral to the national consciousness at the time. It was nice to see the "action sequence" clip, cheesy as it was, but a contrasting, more domestic scene would have been welcome also.

Anyone out there who actually watched this show?

Re: The Clear Horizon
Bucky, thanks for posting this. I've also been rather intregued by TCH. It seems so different than anything else ever attempted in daytime. However, it's one of those series that you just never seem to hear much about. I wish I'd gotten to see the CBS special. Apparently, since they had a clip from TCH, there must be at least one episode of the series (either partial or whole) out there somewhere. This is clearly true since Brian's World of Soap Themes has the closing amongst its archives. I'd personally love to hear some personal recollections about this series.
