The Great Kunark Adventure
Journal Entry 1
I sneak silently through the swamp, using the shadows to hide my every move, no twigs snap no light reveals me. I move snakelike through the mud and shallow water ready to strike at anything who discovers me. My destination is not far away, though moving silently seems
to take much longer, it gives me time to plan my assalt.
I find myself trembling with anticipation, needing te feel
my victom shudder in my arms as i twist my spear into its back. I will cover its mouth, to hide its screams and cry's for help. Step by step i plan my attack to its smallest detail, i can not fail my first real assignment from my guild master. I have trained for this since i was of my 12th year. And now i must leave my snow covered land and
seek out my first assignment.
I have spent the last year traveling thru the bitter cold of everfrost, Rainsoaked camps in the karanas, where a fire could not even be lit in the rain, I have found my way thru the forest of undead, and on to commons where my greatest treasure, my mask of illusion has came in handy, as to betray the mighty dragoons into thinking im of their own kind. I have traveled many weeks by boat thru the thickest fogs i have yet to see, we Sailed passed an island with Great Seafuring Giants and i have seen some of the Rare
Sirens swimming in the water alongside the boat, and sunbathing on the small rockpiles that seem to float atop the water.
I have landed in the land of the dwarven men, they have built
their city in a mountainside, they appear to be nice folk but I am not sure they can be trusted. After talking with a few dwarves I have found where to go to catch my next boat, to The land of the Lizard Man....Kunark.
I am 2 days ahead of schedule and hope to meet my guide Tadyan, a dark Elf just outside of Fironia. I Hope the Dark Elf can be trusted and not lead me to my death along the way.........
