The Great War - by Clive Maxwell
Over 3000 years ago the world itself was perfect. Technology and elements existed in harmony. A selection of people with the power to harness elements could transform into superhuman states through elemental evolution.
But mankind was always striving to go beyond the boundaries of what it could accomplish. Thus began the great race for dominance. The five great continents each with their own strengths tried invain to create the ulitmate power over others.
It was at this time that the Elementals were in large seperate clans made up of about one hundred people. The Wind, Water, Earth, Fire, Holy and Shadow Clans. These clans were envied by the rest of mankind, jealous of the power they have gained.
It was then that the strongest of each clan started to disappear one by one, and a great force showed itself. Seeing that this force could wipe them out the elementals and humans joined forces to form a powerful army the likes that will never be seen again.
The army however, was quickly defeated by this unbeleiveable force in a matter of minutes. It was at this time that the Holy Clan of Andel devised a way to beat the force and order was restored however the elementals were then shunned and hunted down as they felt they were the reason for their almost destruction.
Now the elementals have mostly died out, anybody decendants of the clan members have now forgotten how to transform. The only evidence the elementals ever existed are rare skills in magic possessed by certain families, and the abandonned ruins which once housed the clans around the continents.
