::Set up a few miles from Diefenbakker's the Amalgam of Void Engineers Cy and Shandra Have been called in to protect the Syndicate Node from recent increases in agressions from loupe-garou, werewolves, shapeshipting primitives with inhuman power. The Syndicate just want them dead, the Proginators have requested that they take them alive so they can experiment on the shapshifters bodies and learn their secrets of regeneration. Shandra Yawns as the light rises her from her fitful and tormeted sleep, but it seems her nightmares have been left behind her for this day unlike some others she awakens refreshed.::

Soon Cy and Shandra were at the closed casino ariving by a silver van to a war scene. a pack of 5 war beast werewolves were attacking the casino's defenders, 2 wolves were aparently dead on the floor already on the defending front were 2 huge men, 2 medium sized men, 2 women, aka the Cleaning Crew, all 6 HIT MARKS the humanoid seeming cyborg hunter/killers had their plasma gons poped right out of their backs and they to were in the full frey. And Lastly their was Tori Wittingham, cheif of security She fought witha intensity matched by the beasts, pulling off several actions at once and wounds closing before everyone's eyes. The Casino was a war zone of carnage, and Shandra just gasped"

::Cys Glasses flicker on for a moment responding to a reflexive comand and for a oment Cy gets a insight to the 'spirit' side of the battle, cackeling malformed demons circledaround Tori and twisted monsters infested several of the cleaning crew, the invaders and the hitmarks as well as himself and shandra were clean though, as was most fo the Casino::

Cy expertlly draws his sword. He holds up his right hand and flexes it and little bits of electricty bounce over it. Cy lowers his glasses for a second.
"Huh, it seems that some of the emplyees are being manipulated by the unseen."
Cy enforces his swords enhancements and puts his Life Drain spell on it as well since he's fighting living opponents...

One of the wolves takes Cy attack point pblank, he does not dodge as it gouges a hole in hi s chest and just as quickly the wound seals. Another Takes Shandra blast and drops to the ground convulsing, suddenly though the felled wolves leap up to their feet and renew their assult::

Cy charges foward his sword out straight aiming for a wolf, upon impact regardless of injuries Cy forms a red sphere of energy on his hands and rams it into the beast chest unlessing the blast when he touches.
sorry won't work you not a mage anymore you need a technological focus, so science fictionly explanation for your stunt like oh even a psychic knife, but you need to explain it acording to your characters new understanding of techno-magic

::Faling back on old habits Cy find himself atempting magic when he no longer belives in magic, needlessto say it doesnt work. Lusing the opening one oftrhe wolves charge locking Cy in a graple as it tries to drag him int othe umbra (and the avatar storm) by using his silver knife to fade into the unbra unless Cy can break the grapple::

Cy's eyes flash and a new persona is incharge. Cy does several motions quickly, aiming for several pressure points and weak boned areas and a powerful down thrust with his open palm for the breastbone.
::You attacker soaks the attack and is only marginally hurt. The fight contues to drag on as Tori continues her inhuman assult on the wolves and Shandra fires another charged bolt, 2 more wolves fall::

Cy growls and raises his blade. He charges a wolf and slashes at the throat, he turns dragging the blade on the pavement and uppercuts one then spins for the finishing blow.

With the War raging on andthe wolves hurt they ecide to cut their losses, The battle screaches to a halt as one of the wolves heads fly cean off its sholder, ad its body slump to the ground the 2 pieces revert to a shamnaistic native american man in his late 40's dressed in bear skins, theirs a inhuman dorge from the remaining 6 wolves and one wit hfur as red ans blood stares at each of the defenders starting with cy, as he reaches into a dear skin pouch drawing some firm of energy dust ::multi color energy coresses throughthe casinos grounds and try as cy might (i roll dice in secret for everyoe all the time over here and you failed you resistence roll) cy feels his mind slip away as he is striped of 3 points of intelegence and his mind becomes more feral in the process leaving him tetering with a very feral mind and only 60 iq. from 140.
Next to feel the crimson beast fury is Tori the demon possed secuirty guard but it seems her demon allies favor her as the effect complety fails to effect her! The Crimson Wolf turns his gaze on Shandra then as the other 5 guard him, Shandra growls and grunts as her form despite her resistence mutates and transforms into a normal grey wolf to which one of the beast grunt and growls at her and she pads over toward them taking up a defensive posture defending them. All of the cleaning crew share Shandra fate save one who stands unphased. and the 5 wolves This time the red wolve growls gring the 5 new wolves over to their side. leaving just the Cyborg HIT MARKS to deal with where a wolf with multi coloed moloted fur riases his hand and the 6 hitmarks go offline. In a low guteral voice the Red one speaks
"We leave now, we take de-filers with us, Fa-Mori we kill, female we make mate. Monkey's no Follow!"
::Silently the enlarged pack turn around and head out the door.::

ooc: The one who were PHYSICALLY turned to wolves, 5 members of the Cleanign Crew and shandra, were forfully controled to follow the wolves who are leiving, they are not on that side willingly, as for you only your /mind/ is effected

Cy drops to his knees. "What's happened to me?"
He stands looking around at the familiar faces. He sees his sword laying at his feet and picks it up putting it into it's sheath as he has many times before. He tries grasping the words that were once so familiar to him and fails. He looks at Sandra and his heart picks up pace. He some what stumbles to her side and holds here in a strange embrace of emotion

He glides the blade across the pavement in front of himself and spins it around holding it out to his right. He grins and stands between the wolves and the kanid Sandra.
"Dare you to challenge me simple creatures..."
Cy drops into a stance that his body is all to familiar with.
"Sandra, I'm not letting you go!"

Cy looks at Sandra and frowns and says so he hope only she hears.

Cy backs up slowly his sword still drawn and stands at the front of the casino watching the wolves.
