The Little Extras (Summer Knight)
In Summer Knight the artist who is killed, who is also later revealed to be the Summer Knight is named Ronald Reuel.

Ronald and Reuel are the middle names of J.R.R. Tolkien, author of Lord of the Rings.

Jim Butcher quotes William Shakespeare!
Will wonders never cease to amaze. With all these fairies running around it was only a matter of time before someone mentioned A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The last line of "Summer Knight" is "Lord, what fools these mortals be." which is taken from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare.

I'm much much better at picking up the BTVS references -

I'll need to go back and read through again -

(I'm also thinking this thread should be under "Summer Knight")

Re: The Little Extras (Summer Knight)
There's one in "Summer Knight" - not sure if it's intentional, but Harry says "They make me feel all manly."

Which is the exact line Spike says to Buffy in "School Hard" when she asks him about using weapons for the fight.

Then, there's a really obvious one in "Death Masks" -- let ya find that one on your own. ;) *eg*
