The Lord of the Rings (movies) Quote Game
Finally here is a game for the movie lovers around.
The Rules:
I will start out with a quote from the Lord of the Rings movies by Peter Jackson. The person who guesses where in the book it is from and can give the sentence either before or after my quote wins and gets to post the next quote.
We go from the Extended versions (for the simple reason that I find them on the whole far more satifying than the theatrical versions)
Example:
Quote: "You are late."
Guess:
In the "Fellowship of the Ring, when Gandalf arrives Frodo hears him and goes to meet him.
Frodo: "You're late."
Gandalf: "A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precicely when he means to."
If there is no answer for a week anyone can move in and post a new quote to keep the game going.
I'm pretty sure I'm right, but will wait for confirmation before posting the next quote.
"His strength returns." Gandalf says this to Elrond, about Frodo, in Rivendell. I think the next line is, "That would will never fully heal; he will carry it with him the rest of his life."
