The McBain Boys got a Thumps Up in the new SOD
I couldn't get the freaking scanner to work right so I am just going to type this one up:
Thumbs up - OLTL McBain Gains
Marcie and Micael and John/Natalie/Evangeline my be popular, but thre's antoher pair from the group whom we love: brothers Michael and John McBain.
When they're together, the usually reserviced bros show a relaxed, fun side that we don't often see when they're dealing with others (John, especially). they way they joke around is realistic (like Mikey teasing John about Natalie's true motives for bringing John a hamburger), and thier humorous scenes have given us some nice breaks during the stron of murder storylines that they've been involved in. With all the dysfunctional families on soaps, it's refreshing to swatch a relationship featuring two decent guys who genuinely love and respect each other.
We also like how Dr. Mike and Officer John have teamed up serval times, like during the investigation into Jen's death. these scenes have allowed them to bond while moving the plots forward, as well. Mike and Joh's interactions show why soaps need to concentrate more on families. Bring on the Brothers McBain.
Pic of them during autopsy. Caption: Sibling Revelry - bros Michael and John are true to Life.

LOL - I saw this too. Isn't that what we've been saying all along? hehe Too bad we don't have the posts to proove it anymore I swear, sometimes they make a better "couple" than anyone else on the show

We have definitely been saying this all along, and you're right they are the best "couple" lol.

This is so true, in scenes that are just John and Michael, we see a different side of John that he rarely shows otherwise. The scene on John's birthday with the cupcake is a good example of this. They are just very believable as brothers and they know each other better than anyone. John has got a lot of stuff locked up inside him and the only one that really knows about is Michael.
Speaking of the McBains, my sister has a theory that this Spencer guy had something to do with the death of John and Michael's father. So far a couple of connections, the name McBain is familiar to him and he's from New Jersey. It could be possible.

I was thinking the same thing on this too at first. My only problem with it is wouldn't Spencer have been to young to be a Dr. when their dad died? He can't be that much older than John. I do think it has something to do with their dad though.
