The Pot lyrics question?
At the beginning of 'The Pot', I want to believe that he says
"Who are you to wave your finger?
You must've been out of your hair,
I hold deep in muddy waters,
You must've raised the dare."
Everyone I've talked to says that Maynard says...
"You must've been out of your head,"
and
"You must've raised the dead"
However, you couldn't have said that because at the end of each stanza he doesn't emphasize a "d" sound....
Can anyone give me an opinion of this one.... the hair and dare part makes sense to me because someone is evidently pointing a finger at him and if he "holds deep in muddy waters" it concludes the dare part.
Please post your opinions.

The Pot Lyrics
After hearing this song a bazillion times and also reading the lyrics, and hearing interviews, Ive realized its not so much about dares, but more about hypocrites and liars. The words could easily be misinterpreted though...I did when I first heard it lol, but it makes sense to me now.
