The Wheel of Time RPG AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! be afraid, be very afraid. Thus far, myh review on the Star Wars RPG is Two Thumbs down! 2 out of a scale of 5, 3 on a scale of 10, 7 on a scale of 20. But I am testing it a bit more and will give further Info if you like. They are using the D20 rules, the Classes and such for the Wheel of Time aswell. Im assuming that Warder and such will be pretige Classes and so on. I believe they will muck it up Bigtime and my friend and I may try using the D20 system and creating it ourselves to compare. "Two memorials remain today at Thermopylae. Upon the modern one, called the Leonidas Monument in honor of the Spartan king who fell there, is engraved his response to Xerxes' demand that the Spartans lay down thier arms. Leonidas' reply was two words, Molon labe. 'Come and get them' The second monument, the ancient one, is an unadorned stone engraved with the words of the poet Simonides. Its verses comprise perhaps the most famous of all warrior epitaphs: Go tell the Spartans, stranger passing by, that here obedient to thier laws we lie. |

Re: The Wheel of Time RPG Alright, well. TSR, the gaming company who came out with Dungeon's and Dragons a long ass time ago was purchased by Wizards of the Coast, the gameing company who made a @#%$ load on the Card Game Magic. Later they were purchased by the "Toy" company Hasbro. During all this time TSR had been working on the 3rd Edition rules for Dungeon's and Dragons, they dropped the Advanced part of the name. Anyways, Wizards of the Coast Own the rights to the "D20" system which was developed for thier New D&D game. They are using it for everything they can get thier hands on it seems, Star Wars, Wheel of Time.... What next? "Two memorials remain today at Thermopylae. Title!>!>>!>Rogosh, go buy either the D&D players Handbook or the Star Wars RPG Core rulebook and Read it. Those are the two games out using the D20 system. if you can find a way to read them without buying them its better. Well, I like D&D 3rd edition, but the rules arent good for Star Wars OR wheel of Time. QTip, ever played a World of Darkness game? (by WhiteWolf?) I think that system Might be good for Wheel of Time. |

Re: online wot d&DYeah, send it my way as well at wallin2@annapolis.net. If my assumption is correct this entire thread is referring to a pen and paper RPG for WOT. It would be nice if they did another video game but I am not holding my breath by any means of the imagination. £_Buad of Albhain |
