The heaviest ever...
Hello. I'm new at the site, and don't really know anybody, but that's another post for another time...I just recently found Opiate in a Wherehouse music after searching for about a year, and I have to say that it is some of TooL's best, and definitely heaviest, work. I highly recommend it for any and all TooL fans out there.

I agree, and am also new here.

My favorite song to perform is Jerk-Off. I like to sing it loud, acapella, out my car window at pedestrians. The town of Colusa, California got a real mother-effing treat this summer.

Any songs in particular you'd like to discuss? I'm game.

I also find Jerk-Off to be the best, and I like to play it on my guitar AND sing it, though I've never sung it at anyone...my self-esteem's way too low for that... Opiate's good, and the hidden track is just hilarious...Hush is probably a close second to Jerk-Off, though...

Consequences dictate our course of action. It doesn't matter what's right, it's only wrong if you get caught. If consequences dictate my course of action, I should play god and just shoot you myself.-TooL, "Jerk-Off", Opiate

i can say what i want to
jerk-off sucks (pun intended) hush is definately the best song; it has such a simple message and i love how it shoved in your face. danny carey's double bass is really bitchin' too.

and have you seen the music video for it (it's hidden on the salival DVD) it shows the members of the band naked with their mouths taped shut! and then somthing oozes out of their mouth and the tape falls off

Re: piece of sh1t
I kinda live the song Part Of Me. Just because of the way he speaks to himself, and everyone the same. Saying that we are all lonely until the end of existance. ...also we die not knowing our selves

who cares
thats the problem with music; if du masses start to only listen to the lyrics and what they mean, then the instramental music will become crap! everyone would be so focused on the lyrics and what they mean that hte music will turn to crap and know one would notice because du masses just want to hear the lyrics
