The skin thing!!! Please help!!!
I've been downloading objects and skins feels like forever. The objects work just fine. It's the clothes that don't seem to show up. Can someone give detail by detail on how to make the clothes show up. I have windows 98. I thought I follow directions to the t,but does not seem to be working. and yes, I do have winzip! I so tired looking at the same boring clothes on my sims. Please, Please, Please help!!!!!!!
When you move the .cmx, .skn and .bmp files into the C: Programs/Maxis/The Sims/Game Data/Skins folder make sure they aren't stored inside another folder within that Skins folder. The game can't read any skin files stored in subfolders.
Could that be the problem?

p.s. all those slashes in the directory above should lean to the left, but I can't get ez-board to make that symbol.
