Tolkien's ABC
You must think of a Tolkien character, of any book (and in any tongue), for each letter of the alphabet and to write a few words about him/her. Only characters! And, of course, you can't repeat a name.

e.g.
A = Aragorn
B = Boromir
C = Celeborn

So...

A = Arwen
Daughter of Elrond and Celebrían. She forsook her Elven immortality to wed Aragorn and became Queen of Gondor.

Bother of Rosy Cotton, he was active against Saruman and the Ruffians when they entered the Shire (and were thrown out again)

The Tall, eldest son of Fëanor and Lord of Himring. Leader of the Union of Maedhros that ended in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. He killed himself after to take on of the Silmarils.

Daughter of Húrin and Morwen, one tragic figure in the Silmarillion. Because of some evil magic she for some time forgot about her idendity and married Túrin her brother. When the truth became known she took her own live and that of their unborn child.

The Noldorin Lord of two of the Houses of Gondolin (Tower of Snow and of the Pillar). He was slain with all his men when the city was invaded.
