Tolkien's word game.
Your word/s must begin with the last letter of the previous entry's word/s. Beware! This time, characters' names are not allowed, but you can post anything else: rivers, mountains, cities, realms, towers, forests etc.

Guessed it? Then you can post too, but you need to tell us about the name you guessed. So we all will learn a bit more about Tolkien's world :)

For example:

Word: Nan Curunir

Reply:

The valley of the Wizard Saruman in the southern feet of the Misty Mountains where Isengard stood.

New Word: Rauros

And so on. Let us start!

And yes, it was, and besides, a noldorin realm where the nine, seven and three were forged :)

Word 2: Nargothrond

Re: Tolkien's word game
The stone of the Hapless, is a Grey stone put in place by Mablung, to mark where they burried Túrin Turambar. It also served as a memorial for Nienor. It is said that this stone will never be cast down by Morgoth. It was never orginally going to be in the story, Tolkien wrote that part in the margin later.
