Want to share a poem
Showing J&J’s love story that’s known,
A little lengthy because history has grown,
Made it up and mine to own.
Hope you like it, enjoy. And hope it’s not depressing in some way. Hopeful to cheer some people up.
Two worlds collide to be forever changed,
Friends and loved ones witness the love that is made,
Different backgrounds but destined to meet,
The passion of writing brings them to greet,
Starting out as friends but turning into more,
Seeking happiness, their love begins to soar,
Feeling too close and sick with worry – he pulls away,
Putting on a mask of denial, keeping his emotions at bay,
Confusion and tears spring down her face,
Fighting for his company, love and embrace,
Pretending he didn’t care but it was too late,
She had him – his feelings for her she could not shake.
Making the choice to get her out of his system … she was fired,
But his plan did not work, leaving him to pine and to desire,
Slowly they were working back their way as a team,
Designed a way for them to sneak and to scheme,
Forced in a room that made their true feelings come out,
Bringing them closer with comfort, there was no doubt,
Facing the troubles and bumps down the road,
Their adventures leading them together and a ship to explode,
Washed up on shore, one is hurt while the other fills with despair,
In the cave, to nurse her back to health with tender care,
Where they reunite their heat and connection,
Finally headed into one final direction,
Filled with passion as the bodies tumble and intertwine,
Leaving them content and feeling divine,
Dipping in to a pool, which soothes and devours,
Hearing voices call out – they hide and cower,
Embarrassed to be found and headed to the site,
Retaining his fears and in enters his plight.
Once back to Salem, he grows back into a void,
Burying him self in work with people to avoid,
Hurt and in anguish, it was the last straw,
Both feeling emotional cuts and bruises so raw,
Departing to get away, throwing her self into trouble,
While he had a plan to burst her bubble,
Spinning in a world so dark and full of danger,
In stumbles a man with mystery – an evil stranger,
Forcing her to be his bride and then to rape,
Grief stricken, she felt violated and was in bad shape,
She grew quiet, silently suffering – keeping the secret hidden,
Distance was wedged between the one she loved, his touch forbidden,
Not noticing the change, acting as normal as can be,
Viewing the world in a new perspective others couldn’t see,
Handing her a proposal time after time,
Declining, breaking his heart wishing to rewind,
A fight ensued tearing them apart,
Bouncing back for there was another adventure to start.
Paired into the same room and up to their tricks,
Sly to creep and investigate, trying to find what clicks,
Discovering a gun and planting it in his pants,
Stepping into the mystery story, the magic slowly enhanced,
Along the way, the secret creating devastation flows,
Telling him the tale tearfully, a hard hitting blow,
Walking away to think and be alone,
Chopping a tree, anger and pain clearly shown,
Heading back to confront her as she breaks down,
Holding her without making a sound,
Telling him she was her strength, the one thing that gave her hope,
Giving her all she needed to learn to cope.
Slowly but surely finding a way to survive,
In a mess, depending on weenies to keep alive,
Organizing a path for civilization, one becomes lost,
Rescues appear and two snow people are tossed,
Getting back home, a trial of justice happens,
Dealing with a petty crime, hating him with a passion,
Trial after trial they were soon to prevail,
Continuous determination, using someone as a tail,
Coming back with evidence to put him in jail,
Happiness was celebrated and with nothing to fail.
Showcasing his love to her, he proposed to gain,
In doing so getting the answer he wanted to obtain,
Losing his voice hanging his head in shame,
Telling her he was the one to blame,
For his voice was taken away from fear,
But this wasn’t what she wanted to hear,
Creeping away to the arena to revive his voice,
He was mistaken for another … locked up with no choice,
Concerned and afraid she searched to find him,
Still stuck, chance of getting out so dim,
Slipping into a dream – regaining what he needs,
Bursting out free, to the wedding is where he proceeds.
Just in time, excited to become husband and wife,
They hold hands, vowing to be together for life,
Tears and love evident in their eyes,
Loved ones happily sigh they begin to cry,
Hiding away for sometime to be alone,
Exploring places of happiness unknown,
Taking a trip with glitz and glam,
Untold and sucked into a dirty scam,
Letting him into their lives, using one’s weakness for greed,
Using the other’s naiveté, planting the evil seed,
Having them in his hand but not fooled for long,
To outwit him for doing wrong - he was gone.
As the years passed she discovered a life inside of her,
Informing him with the news, his troubles begin to stir,
Uneasy about raising a child with the past he holds,
His terror and dread starts to unfold,
Once the baby is born, new love and happiness grows,
Counting her little baby fingers and toes,
Disaster strikes, when the child gets ill and sick,
Horrified but needing a cure as time ticks,
Finally they were put at ease for there was a match,
Giving them the many thanks and pleasures attached,
However he made a decision to leave for causing more distress,
Leaving with them sadness, picking up the mess.
Time flew by as they meet once more,
Meeting new obstacles was what was in store,
Sharing a shower with kisses and pleasure,
Deep inside, knowing the other was a treasure,
Having enough of playing games, he was through,
But always and forever, the only one to pursue,
For she was what he wanted and only so much,
Longing to see the day they reconcile – so close to touch,
Gradually the flame was lit and with victory so sweet,
Swept her off her feet – to the bedroom they retreat,
First time in a decade, they proclaim their love and bliss,
At last stops the emptiness but poured with a gentle kiss,
In seeps the intense romance, hearts rhythmic style,
Remaining deep twinkles in eyes and basking with a smile.
Once and for all the wedding took place at the Penthouse Grill,
Flying with colors, harmonize with the people giving them a thrill,
Standing before God devoted to their eternal love,
Two to become one, angels watching from above,
Excepting every imperfection, mistake and fault,
Everlasting love never to leave as the result,
Embarking the journey testing their affection, new surprises to befall,
Listening to their hearts, being through it all.
and you are JUST going into high school? That was wow. You are sending that to someone connected to Matt, DAYS, NBC and Matt especially.
Can I keep that too, I hope to restart the Eclectic board where folks can post stories, poems, etc. pretaining to Matt or one of his characters.

LOL, sure! I'm glad you liked it so much. Actually I wasn't planning to send it, it just came out of me. I'll fit in the essay somewhere though. Matt does read the entries right?
Marian, you're all over the place! You really did go and post on everything little poem post out there.
