War poll Guys I have no intention of turn our forum into a political argument but, as a thinking person, I would like to hear everyone's opinion about this war.

Well, I'd hate to say the war is the right thing to do because really I don't think anybody has enough knowledge about the whole situation. It might have been needed, like a last resort kinda thing. In that case, I support it. If it's something petty and unworthy of a war, (which most things ARE not worth a war) then yes it's wrong. So I voted I don't know...because I really don't. All I do know is that I hope we get Hussein before many innocent lives are lost.

I don't know if is or isn't but, it's freaking me out guys
Last night in my bed I could not sleep yet thinking what will happens and I did not know that the war was already on!!! og og then today I saw on tv! I'm totally aganist wars. But as I do not understand nothing about, I won't say too much even so will get out only rubbish!

I voted that war is not needed. I live in San Francisco but I'm French. I'm so scared about what's going on right now. I'm even scared of being French!! Now, what does that tell you?! America's representant make it seem as if France was the bad guy in this conflict, only because we don't support war and France wanted more inspections!!
I think I know enough about this conflict (I've been following this since it's started) to say that war is not needed RIGHT NOW! Maybe it would have been later but now the inspections were going the way everyone wanted them to go...but it wasn't enough to please good ol' George!
Anyway, I respect people who think that war is the answer, but when I watch TV and see all the people in the streets protesting, I feel that this war is only between Bush and Saddam Hussein...not americans and iraqis....
Anyway, I went protesting today, and many people got arrested, luckily, I wasn't..well, I'm not much of a troublemaker!
I hate Bush and his "guys" for making most amricans belive that France is the bad guy in the story. What about Russia, china, and Germany?! They are all opposed to war too!!
I think I'm gonna stop talking about it now...

Well what I hate more is the deception guys. I live in Greece & I heard B. Bush message in the TV saying that he does this war because he want to "rescue" the Iraqui people from Sadam who is a dictator! I mean... who asked you man??? Who asked you to?? That is something that only the Iraqui people have the right to do .
By the way Kate I could not sleep last night like you, after I saw in the TV the first 5 injured persons, including a baby 5 years old & a pregnant woman who losted her child.

It's terrible! I don't know what to say... I'm soo against this war. I hate Bush for doing this. I'm French too and I think it's sad that Bush says all these mean things about us...
This morning I heard that there were dead people from the American and British army... and all these innocent irakien people... this is wrong, really wrong...
I think that now Bush is the dictator...
Hope it's not gonna last too long...

I am opposed to the war in Iraq. I oppose all war, but I am especially opposed to this one because it was not okayed by the United Nations. I feel that by going against the UN, the US is breaking international law, which may cause other nations to do the same, or worse, cause diplomacy to dissolve altogether.
I am very proud of the public protests and demonstrations opposing this war that have taken place all around the world. Although the war commenced, the protesters have done a fantastic job in voicing their opinion and exercising their right of free speech. The protests have shown that a lot of the general population in many countries, including the US, is opposed to this battle, which gives us all hope. Just because wars are being fought, humanity is not in trouble. Much of the world is voicing compassion for the civilians in Iraq, stating that war should not be the first resort, but rather the very last one, and promoting peace.

You know, it saddened me the most that public school's activities, sports, clubs, etc. are getting cut because there aren't any budget left for education it's absurd just seeing that the government just spent 21 million dollars in one day on Iraq. It bothers me seeing how ludicrous that is. Same thing for the environment. Don't get me wrong, I (and for some) appreciates the homeland security of our country is the main priority of the Pres., but putting it before our education, childrens, environment, etc.
I've always thought that I would never see a war on my own eyes, but I guess I'm wrong.
Also, I've heard about the constant bashing of the word "French" how people are totally taking it over the line, i.e. a Labanese man in Calif. have a chains of dry cleaners that has a name French Cleaners, his stores are vandalized and burned; another one is french fries how they turning it to freedom fries.

CK... you are so-so right . The companies with war material are getting richer the same time that education is sooooo behind (that is in Greece too).
Regarding the vandalism... it's all part of the US propaganda ...

I'm against War in everyway possible.. and I think Bush was trying to I dunno begin where his father left off..
But after seeing those people in Iraq so happy that SH was gone, it made me happy everybody deserves to be treated equally, no matter what your religion, color, language you are
And Im scared to death of war... I lost alot of people, close Friends of mine on 9/11, Its just not worth it, why cant people just be happy with themselves and other people around them?
