What DVD's have you bought recently?
As the other thread is buggered up I thought we'd start another:

"Hells Angel's On Wheels" - £4

"Deathsport" - a steal for - £2

"Firefly" - Complete series 9as everyone says how good it is)

"Doc Martin" - Series 1

"Bikers From Hell, Triple Feature":
"Run Angel Run" - With Joe Bob Briggs intro/comm
"Hell's Angels 69" - With Joe Bob Briggs intro/comm
"Hell's Bloody Devils"

"Rats: Nights of Terror"

"Dreamscape"

Exchanged a £5 film for £6 credit (I AM THE MAN!) and spent £5.50 of it on:

"The Concrete Jungle" - £2. Grandaddy of the American set WIP films.

"Justine"
- £3 Anchor Bay release of Jess Franco's flick.

"Giant Spider Invasion"/"Demon Under Glass"
- .50p - Double Bill DVD.
How could I resist "Giant Spider" for those few little pence!

All Used and Cheap!

Kibakichi 2 - I have not see this one yet, but looking foward to.

The Keeper - Not that good, but at least it has Dennis Hopper playing yet another borderline character in the way only he can play it, this time a psycho cop who "keeps" a dancer, played by Asia Argento, in his basement away from the evils of the world and warns kids about the dangers of drugs through a puppet show.

Kunoichi Lady Ninja - A bunch of HOT Ninja Babes, some Sexy Magic, and some of the usual "Evil Lord Kidnapping Beautiful Women" story - All based from a novel. True, it's not Hentai-Rama madness, but it's also not a bad way to spend a couple of hours with some active eye-candy.

"I thought my order was over the top but you just trounced me."

I'm not proud of it! Seriously, I shouldn't have bought all that shit, but I have a weakness for cheap DVDs.... then I just had to grab a few titles that I've been meaning to get (the Nazisploitation titles- especially since -among other books- I've been reading Michael Slade's SWASTIKA and so I'm really in the mood for some twisted Nazi shit). And with the MGM buy-out by Sony I'm afraid that some of these titles will cease to be available, so it's a last ditch effort to ensure I accumulate the titles I care about the most (or at least am the most curious to see).

/\ Dude, I totally understand. If I had any more money, I would've bought more too. Then again, I can probably take a week of work off this month, that'll save me about $30 in gas that I could spend on DVDs. :lol

Re: What DVD's have you bought recently?
Kadaver, that is a good list, and I also understand the MGM titles, as well as the SS Experiment Camp films and even the DKs disc (One of the first Punk albums I ever heard was In God We Trust, Inc.- I had a friend who was very clued in at the time.). It's in heavy doubt that the Midnite Movies collection will ever be treated with respect, so it was good to get the discs while you could.

...one of these days, I should get a list of the used VHS tapes I bought between 1998-2001. That would be over-the-top, and interesting.

JENIFER
NIGHT FANGS
DO YOU LIKE HITCHCOCK?
DIE SCREAMING MARIANNE
CONFESSIONAL-HOUSE OF MORTAL SIN
COMEBACK-DAY THE SCREAMING STOPPED
DEVIL COLLECTION (3PK)
VENOM (Blue Underground)
QUIET DAYS IN CLICHY
THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME
FRAULEIN LEATHER
ELSA FRAULEIN SS (HELL TRAIN)
WEREWOLVES ON WHEELS (1971)
TRILOGY OF TERROR (SE)
SMALL GUAGE TRAUMA
WITCH WHO CAME FROM THE SEA

That's the problem with having good credit... you can sometimes use it unwisely... The long and short is this- my wife's been out of town this summer... she'll soon be back... I won't have a chance for unwise buying like this for a while... possibly a long-while, so I've indulged. I'm not showing off, but I'm quite sure I can pay this all off in the next semester's time frame, so fuck it, I'm picking up these titles. And I'll keep up with the Mondo Macabro titles, so help me!
