Right, this is something I am v.v.v.v.interested in!
What do you think about the 'King of Pop', Michael Jackson???

I personally would vote for Choice #2 because I think he's soooo cool!
Me and my friend Jane were dancing around to 'Thriller' and 'Billy Jean' this afternoon and it makes for perfectamondo dancing music!!!!!!!

Haha, he's slightly crazy, although he did make good music at first. There's an advert for something or other around at the moment - it's a picture of Michael Jackson looking especially wierd with the caption "If this is what is going on on the outside, what on Earth is happening on the inside?"

I like the music! It's evergreen. Some things just sound good forever, like the Beatles, Madonna, Michael Jackson and some others... :) I don't care his personal life. The music is good. That's all I need ! :D

He did make good music way back when. However, while this is terrible I suppose, his life has overshadowed any possible talent that he has (or may have had).

I think if he weren't famous...he'd be in an institution. I was in love with him when I was little. I had the Michael Jackson doll, tatoos on my arm. Now, I wish he'd get some help. I don't even recognize him anymore...I feel sad for him.

I think he's a great singer and even though he's had all that work done and he's maybe just a tad maaad, (aren't we all!), that he's probably just a normal person underneath and that people shouldn't judge him by appearance.
I for one would love to meet him and just get to know the guy under all the tabloid rumors and the 'plastic' facade!
God, that sounds really deep doesn't it! I AM proud!

Billie Jean Gets Stuck Like Glue In My Head zaggorama
Many a times I've gotten "Billie Jean" stuck in my head, especially when i was working this summer. AH, those horrid mornings where I'd have to scan Drafting drawings with Micheal Jackson singing in my head.

Please, you obviously do not know what you're talking about.
I'm glad you love Billie Jean but then you labelled him a child abuser. This was never proven.
You are merely just believing what the media says.
The media is extremely persuasive I do admit, and look at the majority of the world today. Their lives are controlled by the media - what you think, wear, or do.
The facts are:

Michael Jackson loves children. Of course, the media has chosen NOT to talk about ALL the wonderful things he has done for the less fortunate. Yet they make such a huge deal about this child molestation case which did NOT find him guilty. He has done much more than his share of good deeds believe me. His determination to heal the world is genuine.

Evan Chandler was the man who said Michael abused his child, Jordy Chandler.
Before this, Evan worked for Michael. Jordy and Evan's wife were extremely fond of Michael. But then, Michael did not want to lend him money for his movie - Robin Hood: Men in Tights so Evan was pissed off.
Now, by USING his son, Evan could get HUGE bucks.
Afterall, everybody knew Michael loved children.
He is extremely rich.
His apparent 'strange'ness would make it easy for people like you to believe he was a child abuser.

Yes, Michael Jackson was the perfect target.

So there were court cases but this was dragging on too long.
Michael didn't want this to be like a O.J Simpson thing.
Clearly, Chandler was out to get his money.
Fine. Chandler can have the stupid money.
Michael gave him millions to stop the whole stupid case.
He had a career to continue and by stopping all this, he could get back tp work.

OK, so Jordy said Michael molested him.
Anybody smart enough would know his father Evan made him say that. Evan is a strict and cunning man. This 13 year old child would obviously have been terrible afraid of this so called "father".
And if Evan was such a father, he should not have ACCEPTED the money. Geez, if my son was molested, money could not solve that! I'd make sure the molester was locked in prison no matter what.
These are the 2 choices.

Evan chose the money.

This whole drama was set up to GET all that money.

That's proof.

Strange? Maybe. He obviously is different from us. That's great - since our world is full of lies, betrayal and war.
Sick? He is far from that. Michael Jackson is one of the most beautiful people in the world.

If his appearance disgusts you that much, you have to ask whether you have the correct morals.

And does he still deserve the title "King of Pop"?

Well, I don't know anyone else out there who:

has the biggest selling album
for a while also had the 2nd biggest one
won 8 Grammies in one single night
changed pop music forever
can cause the crazy hype only Michael Jackson can cause
has fans from 2 years old to 80 yrs
has been singing since the age of 5
can dance like Mike can
can write his own music - and believe me, Michael CAN write good music.

You probably haven't heard of these fabulous songs.
Perhaps you can download them or buy them.

It's sad that he's been allowed to become so unbalanced. The people around him should be getting him proper help. I know that the media is very responsible for his image but there is no questioning that Michael isn't very mentally stable, I'm shocked that those who claim to care for him have allowed it to continue.

If it's about his face - those who love him don't ask him about his face because it becomes a pretty stupid topic to stay so focused on. Those who keep on talking about his face are the obsessed ones. Not Michael.

About his parenting? Michael is a wonderful parent. You can clearly see his children ADORE him. If you have seen their private home videos, you'd have proof.

The thing about his children wearing masks? His kids don't wear them all the time ok? At home, they don't. They play with other children their age, they laugh alot and have fun like any other kid. But out in public, Michael can't risk the terrible things that can happen.

Have you heard of someone's young son being kidnapped and burnt in the forest? Michael can NOT risk that - so by wearing masks, the public (and let me tell you, there are psychos out there) won't be able to see how his kids look like and hunt for them.

Maybe you think his "unstable"ness is that he has a themepark at his home. Neverland is a wonderful place. Firstly, Michael did NOT have a childhood. Literally. You can walk out your house, buy a burger, sit down at McDonalds or go to the movies. He could NEVER do that. From the age of 9 when he became famous. We would NEVER understand what it is to be in his shoes. Now, he can recapture the childhood he never had. Themeparks, rides, candy...what's wrong with that?
Oh yes, how DARE Michael Jackson use his own HARD-EARNED money to make a themepark!! The NERVE of that man! *sarcasm*
He has every right to do that. No one can tell him how to live.
He isn't hurting ANYONE. Why are we so bothered by all that? Why do we criticize a man who invites less-fortunate children to Neverland for a slice of paradise - if only for a few hours. Michael Jackson created Neverland for himself but even MORE for the other children who have been deprived of a normal childhood. He knows how they feel like so Michael does all he can to make these children happy. Some have cancer and may die in weeks. Some can't even sit up. He provides all these children with some paradise. Watching movies in his cinema, the Neverland rides, the zoo.

Michael Jackson is a WONDERFUL man.
You can't find another human (let alone a celebrity as big as MJ) in this world who would devote SO much time and effort to brighten up other people's lives.
And if what he does is wrong, I'm GLAD he isn't 'right'.

Phew, calm down!

You seem to have confused my concern with his welfare for an attack on his person. I'm not questioning whether he is a wonderful man. I didn't mention any of the issues that you brought up, such as his children and his face, as that was not what I was referring to.

But I stand by my statement that he is mentally unstable. He is unhappy in his life (he has said this himself), has clearly suffered from depression and it doesn't seem like he is getting the proffesional help he needs.

There is nothing wrong with having a mental illness, I have suffered from depression myself and so I am rather hurt that you would see me saying he is mentally unstable is saying he is a bad person.

I'm not a bad person, I just had bad things happen to me in my childhood, as did Michael Jackson.

I didn't think you were a bad person really. It's just that so many people say rubbish about him that you gotta sometimes be extra defensive.

I do agree that Michael is a little mentally unstable - in the way that his long-time sufferings have made him grow to be such a reclusive and shy person.

Other people, when they say he is mentally unstable, mean that he is a "wacko" or a child molester.
So I'm sorry I misunderstood you. :(

But as he says, if he hadn't suffered so much and missed out on his childhood, he wouldn't be so close to children today. :)
