Which is the rulling house in Westeros? As of now, who is it?
I'm not talking about who holds the iron throne, i'm talking about rightfulness. The Targ fans think the Baratheons never held the iron throne legally. The Baratheon fans think they did and that the Lannisters are not the sovereigns because they rule with the Baratheon name. The Lannister fans believe the one holding the throne is the rightful king.
What do you think?
P.s.
I would have added "House Osravan" to the options, but i know you crazy asses would choose Os over all the rest.. Show results
I chose house Baratheon as the rightful rulling house of Westeros.
I believe Aerys broke the feudal contract and lost the throne when his heirs were killed or fled. Once the other houses recognized Robert as their rightful king, the Baratheon gained the right for the throne. For more info, look at Robert's trial thread.
The Lannisters do not rule rightfully because they do it with the Baratheon name. We can see how Cersei is afraid of people knowing her son is not a Baratheon, she believes the Lannisters will lose everything they gained if that happens. Btw, not all of the houses recognized Joffrey as their king. The Baratheon heir, Stannis, still has an army and this means he'll be the rightfu king until he is killed (which will probably happen in Adwd).

Neddy Boy, you knew that I would concur.
Aerys lost the kingdom to a bunch of lords who he unjustifiably named criminals, and who no longer named House Targaryen their soverign, due to House Targaryen's broken feudal contract with them. When Robert won the war, ALL the Houses in Westeros who still had a feudal contract with them forsaked their alliegance to House Targaryen and gave it to House Baratheon. The ones whose feudal contract with House Targaryen was broken by Aerys of course also sided with Robert and House Baratheon. The fact that Tommen is a Baratheon speaks volumes in regards to all those dumb fucks who sided with the Lannisters, because when you think about it, they were only being loyal to the throne they swore to. House Baratheon is the ruling House, and Stannis is the true Lord of that House, as Cersei's confession will admit.

dammit, i really would have chosen House OsRavan.
ok but seriously i chose House Targaryen because i semiconciuosly chose Targaryen when i meant Baratheon, then noticed it & didn't do anything about it.
but i can see how they could claim the throne, & i guess it makes sense...
