Who else thinks that...
Michael would understand how Marcie felt about Al and Gabrielle that he would be willing to name his and Marcie's daughter Gabrielle as well?

I'd think that it would mean a lot to Marcie to be able to name her daughter after Al's mom because of how close he and Gabby were. Plus, Marcie and Gabby really bonded together after Al's death. In the end no matter how you look at it, Gabrielle was a woman that Marcie cared about and she would want to honor her memory by naming her daughter after her. That Michael loves Marcie enough or will love Marcie enough when they have kids together that he'd be willing to do that for her, knowing that it would mean so very much to her.

Even with the permanent change to Michael, I still never ruled out him and Marcie having a daughter named Gabrielle. and in some little way this could be Al's daughter too because of Al's soul and love for Marcie are in Michael(being the one and only part of Al in Michael) and it is unlikely, IMO, that Marcie would be with Michael if it weren't for Al's soul.

I don't know if any of that makes sense to anyone else but that's my opinion on the whole situation. :gogo If anyone else has an opinion they'd like to share on the matter feel free.

I think it is a testament to Michael's love for Marcie that he would be willing to name his daughter after Gabrielle. Gabrielle was the closest that Marcie ever came to having a mother. So it makes sense she would want to name her child after her. Not only in Al's honor but in Gabrielle's too. As a tribute to the woman who treated her like a daugther and loved her like one.

And Michael is not afraid of Al. Not jealous of him. He respects him and by the time Gabrielle died the two souls (Michael and Al) were slowly blending into one soul. Michael cared about Gabrielle too. It may not know why but he feels connected to her as much as Marcie did.

I don't see what the big deal is...it is a sweet gesture that he would do for Marcie and for Gabrielle and for Al.
