When you use "script" inside of some ezcodes (or tags if html is allowed), the security filter will filter the word out. This happens even when it is part of another word. examples description description description de*****ion de*****ion de*****ion If you need to use script inside of ezcode tags, you need to put a blank tag inside the word scri[*i][*/i]t (without the asterisks). You would do the same thing for html tags. App-lets aren't allowed on any ezboard for security reasons, so they are filtered. But the filter is very aggressive and filters app-let even in plain text, such as apple ton. So any word that contains a p p l e t gets the ******. You can get around the filter with a little bit of work, adding a hyphen, spacing out the letters, using a capitol i in place of the lower case l (depending on the font, you can't tell the difference. appIet) or inserting a blank tag appl[*b][*/b]et (remove the *) appleton
