Re: Wild about Harry!
OMG. I totally avoided Harry Potter for years and then about a month ago I caught one of the movies on cable and then I had to know EVERYTHING about all things Harry Potter.
So-- tread carefully if you have an obssessive compuslive personality.
Re: Wild about Harry!
LOL! I do have an obesessive compulsive personality. When I find something I like, I go all out to know everything about it. I guess, I'd better wait on the Harry Potter series right now. If I find that I do like it, I won't get anything else done for a while. ;-)

Hubby got the 6th book for xmas and I was supposed to read it after him, but I never got around to it. It's still in my TBR stack.
Re: Wild about Harry!
Oh man, I'm so happy to know that there are other Harry Potter obsessive adults out their other than me.
I began reading Harry Potter, I think after the first movie came out when I was still in grad school. I never saw what the big deal was either until my husband bought the movie for me. I think at that time, the first three books were already out. After I saw the movie, I went straight to Wal Mart and bought all three books and read them in like two weeks, maybe even one. But after that, I was hooked.
I have and have read all six books and yes, after book six I was crying and my freelings were "hurt." And yes, I have all four movies and can sit watch them over and over and over again.
I can't wait for book 7 to come out, but then, I'll be hurt all over again because it will be over.
You know what I've always wished, is that someone would turn Harry Potter into a cartoon. I'd be right in front of my tv every Saturday morning watching it.
