Willie board?I was thinking this is kind of turning into a Willie board. Every single person here has said that Willie is one of their favorites!
We need some more Quentin and Barnabas fans to even things out! LOL!
Any news at all when DS will return on the air?
I was kind of thinking that since that company is coming out
with DS action figures in 2005 wouldn't it be smart to have it airing somewhere at the time to generate interest in the figures? Hopefully they think in that direction.
I thought the Shadowgram said that DCP was looking
for a new home for it. We haven't heard anything since it went off SciFi.
I'm sorry if I have talked about Willie too much. I really can converse about the other DS characters. I just sort of get carried away in talking about Willie. I agree that it would be great if the show returned in time for those action figures. I saw them and they looked really good. The likenesses were great.
I had a dream the other night that I got up one morning and got on the computer and the groups were all buzzing that the scifi channel had picked up DS again and were gonna start showing it again beginning in January at it's old time slot. Everyone was ecstatic. (I am in quite a few DS yahoo groups and even have my own Dark Shadows Forever) It was so wonderful, we were all jumping for joy. Then I woke up. Gak, that was so awful to find it wasn't true after all!

I just meant that it was funny we all named him as one of our favorites including me! I don't mind if this board is a lot
of "Willie" talk. I like it and think it is fun.
(As long as we throw in some Quentin & Barnabas sometimes! )
I hope your dream comes true! It sure would be great to see it airing somewhere again. It's already been 10 long months without it!
You say you run a group? I don't usually join any only because I can't stand the bickering that goes on in some of them. Seems like there is a certain group that follows the DS fandom everywhere.
I basically stick to boards as long as things stay friendly and fun.
Re: Willie board?I think I was thinking to myself "You are talking about Willie too much" because I do tend to wax eloquent on the subject...but definitely more Quentin and Barnabas is welcome, as are all the characters.
One positive thing about Yahoo groups is that the owner/moderators control how much bickering and or flaming, trolling etc they will tolerate. In my case it is none. The group is very friendly and we have a lot of fun discussing DS. Off topic is kept to a minimum but it isn't unwelcome as long as it's marked that way. I change the homepage pic every day and do themes. This week the theme is Barnabas but I have been doing a 1795 theme lately, and will continue that later on. I usually put a pic of Willie up for the weekend but not always.
There are a lot of great DS friends to be made there. There are a lot of great pix and stories in the photo and file sections some written by me and much by others. IMHO it's the best DS group. Not because of me but because of the members. So...if you would like to at least see the homepage, here's the link:
Crazy boardFor a second there I couldn't find the reply button. Odd things are happening on this board. I think it may be shutting down! Now you reply by using the button underneath the persons name where as before there was a large reply button at the top of the page.
I couldn't even find the post a new topic button.
Did you mention that you posted at a couple of boards Alondra? Where are they,just in case this board crashes I can go over to one of them, if you don't mind?

Something is definitely going on with the board! I couldn't find the "new topic" button either! I hope it doesn't crash. I think we have a great little group here. Everyone has Willie as ONE of their favorites. I am having fun, don't want to lose it now.
Maybe because the board is active now it is updating itself. If that "new topic" button doesn't return that will be awful. We wouldn't be able to continue posting!
On Jackie's board she posts every weekday the Robservations. Robin who is a DS fan did what she calls a Robservation (combination of her name + observation) on all 1245 DS episodes. It's a great summary of each show. You would enjoy reading them. We are now in the Laura storyline, winding down and soon getting to the arrival of Willie Loomis which leads to the arrival of that vampire. We also discuss DS and other stuff, and the people there are great and you will enjoy making friends with them.
Belladonna's board has some of the same people and a few different ones. Topics are DS, and related subjects like vampirism. Everyone there is fun as well. So come on over, you'll be glad you did.
