Wow
I don't know how many of your are beta testing, but I am amazed. If you thought the Sims were big before, wait until this is released.
I opened up a little Boutika shop, but of course I am way too poor to put anything into it yet. Unlike the other Sims games, you cannot cheat in this one (too bad for me ). So you are forced to acquire skills and take on various jobs (like making pizza) just to make some cash. Most people get roomies to help them with the bills. I wanted to wait until my game was released, so my Boutika family could move in if they want to In the meantime, I only purchased the essentials like a toilet, cardboard box for a table, and a bed. I go to other people's houses to shower and eat. Usually, I will leave a tip
The new interactions are amazing and since you are dealing with real people (who look like sims) it can be so much fun just to have a convesation. The conversation bubbles over your head are things you are actually saying... woo hoo.
Re: Wow
Word on the street says that TSO will now allow you to start your own business and actually sell your things to the community in the game to make money! i dont know how they are going to do this, but it sure as hecky excited me!! A Simmie shopping spree..just what Ive always wanted

Re: Wow
I really really want to get it but I'm still on a 56k modem and I can't imagine even trying to play with such a slow connection. Do most of you have DSL or cable? Anyone out there actually playing on a dial-up modem??
Re: Wow
My comp is well, messed up and it's dial up. I'm going to get it anyway for sure, so I can either secretly install it on my sisters comp. or use this crappy freezing every 5 min comp..
